This week at Wicked London we've had Amy Webb, Kate Leiper, Nicola Espallardo, Laura Pick and now Rebecca Gilliland all play the role of Elphaba!
I believe five different Elphabas in a single week is a record breaker?

I really don't get it with the constant changes in Elphaba. In the good old days the cast were pretty reliable from memory and those in leading roles did by and large do most of their shows that were scheduled. I await to be proved wrong by those who know better than me, I just know whenever I saw it I saw who was scheduled to be on in leading roles.

I’d love any of us to try doing an eight show Elphaba week and not be peeling bits of our shredded uvula off the ceiling of the Apollo Victoria…for there not to be 2 scheduled alternate shows is quite frankly, madness.

I believe Alexia lost someone close to her recently. Her saying "this is for you, goodbye" is likely referencing that her performance today is dedicated to that person.

They had asked me, but I’m busy watching rubbish on Netflix, so was unable to make my Elphaba debut today. Y’all gonna have to wait a bit longer. (Like, a reeeaallly long time).
