I’m in row B of the circle from the return to oz charity package. I’ve not sat near the front of the circle before but am excited for it!

Does anyone know Is it the Covid Pass they need to see ? Is that the one with a barcode ? The QR code from the NHS app - you can add it to your virtual wallet on Android or iPhone in advance which I find much easier to deal with at the door.

Definitely either add it to your wallet or take a screenshot beforehand. There have been issues with the app glitching and coming up with an error message. Depending on how strict the venue is, they don't always accept 'the app is broken' as an excuse for not being able to show a valid covid pass and have denied people entry based on it.

Does anyone know Is it the Covid Pass they need to see ? Is that the one with a barcode ? Yes - I was at the Alexandra Theatre (ATG in Birmingham) last night and they looked at Covid passes with the QR code, a vaccine card along with photo ID, or NHS emails or texts. They then scanned tickets and then the bag check. Just make sure you have it to hand as a screenshot or in your virtual wallet to speed things up. Was impressed at how thoroughly they did this, but the AV may work it differently! We’ll just have to wait and see…

Ok thanks. Have taken a screenshot & added to my Wallet. Just Incase. Also have my vaccination card for backup !
Will be interesting to see how it’s all managed. Let’s hope they open the auditorium earlier to avoid the crush in the foyer

Usually producer or director, I think. Few have said anything at the end.

Fingers crossed for something similar tonight.

Not a great start, being given dirty looks by a young man due to me wearing a mask. I’m going to wear a mask, and I don’t care what others do

This won’t start on time. Still half empty Yep, the queue is almost back around the block to the other side of the theatre! I'm not on the same street as the entrance yet! It'll be 8pm before it starts at this rate.

At one show, I'm sure someone near me tried to quietly take a photo to "shame" me on social media for mask wearing, although the woman he was with told him to delete it. Thank you for respecting other people and setting a good example.

It’s their first night back so I’ll give some slack but they took a chunk of the queue round from the main entrance to the back then we just had to wait as only one scanner for 2 queues. The lobby was crazy, like I remember from the before times, but circle bar was ok. Now comfy waiting for the show. Hope it doesn’t go up too late, it’s a school night after all!
Edit: can anyone tell me what the announcements are saying, I’m having flashbacks of a country fair

I'm now in so hopefully not too much longer before it starts! The queue went a fair bit past me but was moving quickly.

What time did it go up in the end? Didn't look at my watch but it's just the interval now. They haven't really paused for the applause much - I didn't hear Sophie Evans say "It's good to see me, isn't it?" at all - just heard "that was rhetorical"...!
