Idina Menzel and Helen Dallimore are returning. My credible source told me. There will be some people in this thread who are like, Helen who?? Sorry Dan, I thought she was the weak link. That accent didn't help either. Vocally perhaps, but I loved her take on Glinda; especially versus Cheno’s overacted mess. |

I don't really get you guys. on one hand you wanna know what's happening and bring the topic of CC back up over and over again. and on the other hand if people post snippets of information (as good or as accurate as they know them), you ridicule them? I guess I don't really see the aim of that. We’re just having a bit of a laugh with it, don’t pay any mind! 🙂 As for a bit of gossip we love it, but have learned to not take it too seriously until the official announcement. Feelings have been hurt in the past *cough*Hello Dolly*cough* and many of us have not recovered yet 😬 |

Helen Woolf & Kim Ismay - two of the finest actors to play those roles, it will be worth going to see them.
Nikki Bentley - meh. Was thoroughly uninspired when I saw her on the tour.
Idriss Kargbo returns as Boq??? Worst Boq I’ve ever seen, fancied Fieyro more than Glinda.
Lovely to get a new Glinda Standby and a new Glinda/Elphaba understudy. And nice to see Stuart Mciver and James Titchener join from the tour ensembles.
Meh to the rest.

The most surprising bit for me is Carina as Nessarose & that Laura's staying!Had a message back in March from a Team Laura Pick on Twitter who were compiling her leaving present and wanted any messages to add to it, I did not have anything to add due to the fact I have not seen her,I did not even realise I had followed the page😂😂 bet they wish they hadn't started the gift quite so early now!!

Never saw Nikki on tour and her vocals sounded amazing on her audios so quite excited to see her. I saw Helen once on tour and was quite disappointed with her but the audience was quite dead that night so I’d like to give her another chance. Never got the Kim Ismay hype either but oh well! Idriss Kargbo really was dire as Boq but at least he’s only staying a few months! New standby Glinda sounds good, might try to see her instead of Helen. I feel so bad for Laura still not getting lead and staying on as standby for a third year!
I think the most exciting of the cast is Alistair Brammer which we’ve already known for months!

I do not find Nikki's vocals pleasant at all. Her vowels sound very strange, in defying gravity she shouts "it's mayyyyy" instead of singing "it's meeeeeee." I know I'm in the minority judging by the comments of "yas queen, slay" and "I am shook" on YouTube but this is a very disappointing cast change.

Just got an email from TodayTix- there are going to be 12 rush tickets available daily for Wicked.
I tend to book most of my theatre on the day, so this is really good news 🙂
