Looking back it was a really surreal night. Seeing all these people I have watched onstage for the past years in the roles, all out to celebrate this magical show, as well as fans of the show who I have met over the years all be together to celebrate, it feels quite strange and surreal to be a part of. Just goes to show how special this show is to so many people.

It takes more prep than may seem obvious to do a singalong like that - warm ups, mics, rehearsal time... I imagine they were all there to enjoy themselves and maybe was too big an operation to put something together. It never seems to be too big an operation for Mackintosh. I can't imagine it's so incredibly hard to have maybe 4 people rehearse one song

I can't imagine it's so incredibly hard to have maybe 4 people rehearse one song Well for example, with this event, two of the most well known and popular Elphaba's Kerry and Louise are busy in rehearsals for their respective upcoming shows, so they may not have the time to get together with the cast for that one number. You could argue well can't the others do it but then you would no doubt get fans saying why didn't you get two of the most popular acteesses to of played those roles to sing? Its one of those "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations. That being said, I personally loved the finale, Stephen walking out and doing a speech was enough to make me happy!

I'm regretting not getting a brochure now but on the night I was in a bit of a rush before and after the show. Had a look on eBay and someone is selling theirs for £100

Louise, Kerry, Rachel and Alexhia have already performed DG as a foursome before, would it need that much extra rehearsal for them to do it again considering they all knew the song pretty well anyways.

I enjoyed the show tonight far more than Tuesday.
1. I was allowed in the front door, always a joy. 2. Wasn't annoying folk from hired PR company @wickeduk everywhere with their crib sheets of photos of cast members. 3. No fifth reserve barmaid from Eastenders or Debbie McGhee in sight.

Had a look on eBay and someone is selling theirs for £100 I believe they're selling them until they run out, any chance you'll have a return visit perhaps and can get one then? I broke my no souvenir brochures rule for it!

They had plenty left tonight.
Also selling them as part of a "souvenir bundle" for £50.

Are you suggesting you could do PR better just because you know every previous cast member? I think people who know the show and theatreland would do a much better job than the PR company - they've had "complete the lyric" type tweets in the past where they've got the answer wrong and last night they tweeted for people to vote in the West End Frame award when voting closed on Tuesday! Some shows have brilliant engagement with their fans and use twitter to really get people talking about the show. Wicked have it so wrong - no one cares to see a gif of an Elphaba shaking her head! Wow.

You're describing marketing, not PR.

Having worked in both it's a fine line on social media when the PR company runs the twitter feed and quite frankly doesn't really engage with the audience. All the Wicked social media is very one-sided, they post photos/gifs. They don't talk to the fans.

There's knowing the show and being a superfan. I don't think it's too much to ask someone who's trained in PR/marketing and is a general theatre enthusiast not to memorise a decade's worth of actors from one of several shows they probably work on.

Give this a go: Tweet something nice about the show and tag both Wicked UK and Wicked Broadway in it. Wicked UK will not reply or even give it a like. There's a good chance Wicked Broadway will.

But there are many factors at play here. Maybe they've been instructed not to engage with fans in that way? Maybe there are simply too many mentions every day and it's simply not possible to engage with them all. Shows like this have very strict social media policies often closely guarded by the producers - they're not just some fan in a bedroom tweeting whatever comes into their head. There are plenty of unofficial accounts doing that job.

They have the same producers, and I'm quite sure the Broadway twitter gets at least as many questions, if not more, than the UK one does

Hi guys, I'm tempted to buy a N27 seat at the Circle because it's £27, but I don't know if it's a good view or if I have to pay more for a decent view of the show.
I've seen the Brazilian version of Wicked and I really really liked, so I decided that I will see the production in the original language. I'm trying a ticket for Dec. 5th (a monday), can I get a ticket for less than £40 that is decent or this is not a real option?

madsonmelo You can see the whole stage from that seat, but it is kind of too far away to see facial expressions. Very good seats for that price! I've only seen the show once in London and I got day seats for that one, so I'm not an expert. Maybe one of the more frequent visitors will be able to help you?

I always use it. postimg.org/image/k1m5ln7f7/If you don't mind paying £45, those yellow seats on the sides are not bad at all (I think the ones on the right are better). And of course you have the green seats but those are probable restricted view.
