I know this is never going to happen but how amazing would it be for the tenth anniversary week to have a different Elphaba every show? Monday: Idina Menzel Tuesday: Kerry Ellis (she should do the 10th day as she is the first British Elphaba Wednesday: Alexia Khadime Wednesday eve: Rachel Tucker Thursday: Louise Dearman Friday: Willemijn Verkaik Saturday m: Jennifer DiNoia Saturday e: Emma Hatton Would destroy my bank account as I'd be seeing 8 wicked shows in one week and I know it will never happen as they hardly celebrated on Broadway, but one can dream! (I am aware that the brilliant casting will no doubt be Emma Hatton and Savannah Stevenson extending!) Sure half of them would still call in sick!

Does anyone know why we got Tom McGowan anyway? Not seen him and heard he is very good, but just wondering why someone like Mark wasn't cast in the first place? I doubt they were holding the spot for him!
I know people say it's the Equity link, and we got Jenny as the US had Gina and they got Rachel so we got Tom. But if this is true why didn't we get anyone when Kerry and Miriam went over to Broadway?

But if this is true why didn't we get anyone when Kerry and Miriam went over to Broadway? Because it's not a literal exchange... we didn't get Jennifer directly because they had Gina. If that was the case the book of Mormon broadway cast would have had English leads for the last couple of years. It equal as much as possible across the board not just per show (correct me if I'm wrong)

Natalie Andreou is on as Elphaba tonight (5th February, 2016) it's a bit ridiculous that Emma had more than two weeks off last month (including all last week) and she is missing shows already...

Ok now I'm not her biggest fan, but how do you know Emma hasn't twisted her ankle and needs to rest her foot?! There could be numerous reasons for calling out.......

Could have for all I know, it's still my opinion though and I am not going to change it because of "could haves" she's proven on more than one occasion she is inconsistent and when on she doesn't exactly give such stellar performances to make up for the absence, irregardless, I am very much looking forward to cast change. Wicked needs fresh blood

So Emma must of done more shows offstage than she has onstage this year... I really do get the feeling we will have a re-cast of Elphaba before her contract ends.

So Emma must of done more shows offstage than she has onstage this year... It's good to see that Natalia A. seems to have become a more consistent Elphie. Really looking forward to seeing her again in April. It'll be more than a half year of not having seen the show in London. I really do get the feeling we will have a re-cast of Elphaba before her contract ends. Frankly, I don't think so.

Forgive me for being so boring, here's some facts So far in 2016 (up to today) there has been 43 shows.
Emma Hatton: 24 Natalie Andreou: 18.5 Natalie McQueen: 0.5
So while it is that Emma has missed a LOT, she was scheduled to miss 8 shows on holiday. So currently in 2016 she has missed 11 shows unscheduled this year. Last year she was MUCH better with attendance, so I guess it's just winter colds and stuff!

It's like a revolving broom this week!
Laura Emmitt posted on Twitter that she's on holiday so technically Natalie McQueen is the only Elphie in the building?!

I still stand by Laura being the permanent Elphaba. She is, in my opinion, from what I have heard, the strongest performer vocally out of the four current. I get that she is rarely on and she may change if she done it regularly, but damn she is so, so good vocally!

Still 7 months till cast change, sigh . What makes you think there'll be a cast change? I'm not that confident and expect the worst in form of an announcement that Emma and Savannah will continue in their respective roles and lead the cast to the show's tenth anniversary.
