GOOD NEWS! We are DELIGHTED to announce our 10th Anniversary London Cast for #WickedUK!
From Monday 5 September, the new cast that will lead us through our 10th birthday celebrations will include: Rachel Tucker, returning to London's West End direct from her triumphant run on Broadway, to play 'Elphaba'; Suzie Mathers, who joins from the Australian production to star as 'Glinda'; Oliver Savile continuing as 'Fiyero'; Anita Dobson joins to play 'Madame Morrible'; Mark Curry who continues as 'The Wizard'; original cast member Martin Ball returns to play 'Doctor Dillamond'; original cast member Katie Rowley Jones continues as 'Nessarose', and Idriss Kargbo joins to play 'Boq'. Alice Fearns will be our Standby for 'Elphaba' and Carina Gillespie continues as Standby for 'Glinda'. #Wicked10

Gosh, I get it's the 10th year and all but am I the only one bored by the constant recycling of cast around the world? It's great to see someone you love back on stage in the same role, but it's just so uninspiring.
Anita Dobson though! YAY!

Disappointed to hear that Rachel is returning, but I'm incredibly happy that Alice Fearn is the new s/b Elphaba. Seems I'll have to continue to book my London trips according to the main Elphaba's vacation schedule.

Who is Alice Fearns? Was she ever in Wicked? Can't recall hearing of her- but very happy for her none the less... ( still hoping for a bump for Laura at some point though...)
Gosh I think I have to book a flight to see Rachel now... never saw her

Alice Fearn without an 's'. I first saw her understudying Princess Fiona in Shrek at the Drury Lane and she was better than her three leads combined. She will be amazing. |

It's what a lot of people hoped for, not very imaginative though. How long can KRJ stay in the role for Interested to see Anita dobsons Moribble I honestly cannot believe she's still staying! I know it's probably a great job for any musical actress and the pay and routine must be great for her but my lord! I feel like I could give a more convincing performance now, even if I didn't shave! She's such a talent as well! |

Hmm... well it's nice, but nothing is making me personally want to go back to Wicked just to see this cast. But then, it's not all about me is it? Idriss Kargbo was very good on the Shrek tour though, so that's a nice BRAND NEW addition to the cast. Quite frankly I'm shocked that KRJ is staying. I do like her but she's been in this show FOREVER now! Very happy for everyone who wanted Rachel back! |

Im not very knowledgeble about the london cast, so forgive the possible cluelessness, but are they all new? I don't see Laura Emmitt's name or Natalie M's- are they leaving?
