Did anyone else capture this truly excellent play from James Fritz at Southwark Playhouse? Written for and performed by the NYT, it was a genuine surprise. I've seen a few of their productions before and I've not (I'm sorry to say) been hugely impressed, but this piece seemed a perfect fit. Very funny and deeply moving, over three short scenes it explored the relationship between young people and the older generation. Cleverly directed and staged, it was packed with first rate performances (with several stars in the making) and managed to be insightful, informative and ultimately terrifying. A really important piece I think, and one I hope they bring back so more people can see it. There was a real buzz after, from a packed house of young theatregoers as well as us oldies. I'd be fascinated to know what anyone else who saw it though.

I saw this play on April 30th and enjoyed it though it wasn’t pleasant viewing. Great written scenes, good acting. Nice to see a young cast get their teeth stuck into a meaty subject.
