I enjoyed it and the dialogue snippets make the story much clearer for people, who haven't seen it. Loved Temper, Temper, but the new version is okay. Quite happy with this recording. Cast of course is a matter of taste, each one his/her own.

How long is the new booking period? Up to and including Sunday 3 October. I assume they’ll extend through Christmas as long as things are going in the right direction with the vaccine and people buy tickets.

The orchestra has been cut. They will now just play the recent live cast recording over the sound system.
No one will notice.

The children will also be played by puppets.
They could cut Petula Clark entirely which would be a big saving AND benefit the show.

She has been asked back but at the time was weighing up her options on another stint. She should just put her feet up. She was embarrassingly bad.

She truly was awful. Give the part to an older West End actress I say.

She truly was awful. Give the part to an older West End actress I say. I think that is a bit harsh. When I saw it Petula was great as wee the rest of the cast. She is such a big name that it was quite a coup for her to be in it.

She is such a big name that it was quite a coup for her to be in it. The Olivier nomination still baffles me. Both times I saw it she stumbled her way through Feed The Birds and as such the song didn't land - waste of a good part for an older actress.

The Olivier nomination was probably just because of her name and past career. Regardless of how good the actress is, it's certainly not an Olivier-worthy role.
