Apparently there was a show today at 14, and some of the kinky boots cast went to see georgia louise's debut, there were adam lake, jed berry, jemal felix, rosie glossop, tom scanlon. Her kinky boots family, lovely...

Saw it tonight - really excellent audience! Gave off a fantastic atmosphere, huge ovations and actually extremely well behaved! New cast are perfectly fine and I'm sure will settle into their roles and relationships very well over the next year, though I've never seen the show in London before so nothing to compare it to. Georgia is a lovely Sophie. Extremely natural and fantastic vocals, same with the new Donna (didn't get programme, apologies!) who had a hint of Cilla Black about her. Tanya and Rosie definitely the highlights of the show.

I was also there tonight and agree, that was the best Mamma Mia audience I’ve been a part of (both in terms of applause and behaviour). You couldn’t tell it was their first night, the cast work really well together and their voices compliment each other’s well which I’ve not always found to be the case. Georgia is already a solid Sophie and I can’t wait to see how she progresses throughout the year. theatremadness Donna tonight was played by Sara Poyzer who’s stayed on for another contract. |

I've taken the plunge and booked for the 20th anniversary on April 6th 2019. We were at the 10th and haven't been back since so whether or not a big deal of it, it feels like the right performance to go back to.

Oh no that's a shame to see, I follow her on twitter and did notice she was off a lot but wasn't aware how serious it was. Hopefully she can recover and maybe the show could welcome her back if the role becomes available again.

So sad and gutting for her but it’s the right decision. She’s had to miss a lot of shows over the past few months, I’m glad she’s taken the decision to put her health first. I do wonder whether they’ll recast for the couple of months that are left before CC or just offer a worthy promotion to Charlotte.

That poor girl. Asthma is SUCH a pain in the ass, one minute it can be perfectly controlled, the next you get an attack out of nowhere. Such a crap condition to have, it affects my life enough and I don't do anything in my day job except work at a desk. The fact it's affected Georgia's dream job is upsetting. Hopefully she gets help to manage it.

Fantastic night at the Novello - as a life long ABBA fan to be in the presence of Benny and Bjorn was just wonderful. They made a short speech, a speech from Judy Cramer and an appearance from Catherine Johnson and Phillida Lloyd, plus a chorus line of past Donnas, Tanya’s. and Rosie’s coming on for the encore. Add to that free drinks, badges for everyone and a hyped up audience it was fantastic!

I too was at both Company's last week, and Mamma Mia's 20th anniversary last night - both very enthusastic audiences and both very special occasions.
This really was great - the cast were brilliant (particularly the 3 Dynamos), the audience were enthusiastic but respectful (I thought there would be far more singing along than there actually was), and a great surprise at the end.

For anyone interested, the past Dynamos that appeared in the curtain call were: Jacqueline Braun, Mazz Murray, Suanne Braun, Kim Ismay, Vivien Parry, Siobhan McCarthy, Jane Milligan, Jenny Galloway, Harriet Thorpe, Jo Monro, Lara Mulcahy, Katy Secombe and Helen Hobson.

Cast announced for 2019/2020! Mazz Murray, who previously played the role of Tanya in the musical's London run, will now take on the lead role of Donna in the show. She will be joined by Kirsty Hoiles as Tanya, as well as Cameron Burt as Sky, Melissa Nettleford as Ali, Sophie Matthew as Lisa, Taylor Bradshaw as Eddie and Danny Nattrass as Pepper. Continuing in the show will be Ricky Butt as Rosie, Richard Trinder as Sam, Neil Moors as Harry, Stephen Beckett as Bill and Lucy May Barker as Sophie. Caroline Deverill continues to play the role of Donna at certain performances. Also new to the cast will be Natasha Agnew, Daniel Clift, Jonathan Cordin, Amelia-Rose Fielding, Shailan Gohil, Callum Heinrich, Frankie Jones, Grace Moorhouse, Jodie Nolan, Dan O'Brien, David O'Mahony, Rochelle Sherona, Megan Speirs, Garrett Tennant, Michael Tyler, Harrison Wilde and Simon Willmont, who will be joining Chloe Ames, Lauren Hampton and Jennifer Hepburn.
