I can’t imagine Eva continuing with the show, she’s been with it for 6 years, an insanely long time for a young actress to spend on one show.

a) Hard to find a good part for South East Asians b) Hard to leave a show you can do with your partner c) Hadestown has given her much freedom to pursue other projects like movies and concerts on the side

Don’t believe it’s Eva as I’ve heard she’s doing something else in America.

Surely someone on here is an NT member that can look at the booking page for us?

I am, but there's nothing about Hadestown that I can see.

I wonder if it might be next week rather than this week for Hadestown bookings.

If it's going into the Noel Coward, maybe the planned opening of bookings got postponed because The Motive and the Cue is going into the theatre for a limited season first.

They wouldn’t push back Hadestown to make room for The Motive first. It doesn’t work like that. My moneys on the Lyric or at a push, Savoy

The Savoy will be free in the Autumn, right?

Lyric seems an old choice to me, it not that big. Maybe they'll use the US Tour set. Only 60 seats fewer than the Walter Kerr, and it's got a hefty amount of backstage space.

The lyric is wider than the savoy and has better wing space

Lyric seems an old choice to me, it not that big. Maybe they'll use the US Tour set. US tour set is a significant reduction from the Broadway set. There's no elevator (so you don't actually go down to hadestown) and it's also missing one of the turntables. I doubt they'd want that for a sitting West End production. If anything, this is far enough out that the Broadway production may close either in September or early January and then it gets that set. I think the most likely scenario is that it just gets its own set.

Oh I'd put money on them giving us the reduced version rather than the full version - this is in a Nimax venue after all...

I’m currently in the NT so popped over to the Box Office to ask about ticket sales. The staff there said that the NT isn’t getting involved in ticket sales for the transfer as far as they are currently aware. This would explain why those of us who are are members haven’t had any contact about tickets.

Thanks david for checking but it sounds like the Box Office may be wrong on this, given the list of dates above for different tiers of booking for members, and the NT is co-producing the transfer to the Lyric.
