I remember one shift behind the bar last year a furious parent coming to order a drink at the interval and shouting at me for all of the "smut"
I hate to say it but she seemed to lack any sense of humour.
She went on to say that the worst part was that the front curtain was clearly meant to be male genitalia. I said "no, it's just Dick's sack."
Some people should stay at home...even at Christmas.

AND last year's panto really did make my Christmas magical. That bus before the interval made me grin like a child every single day.

Anyone else get an email from Today's Tix for seats for £162-180 stalls. I think the meaning of Todays Tix has been a bit lost on them.

£169.50 for circle seats is the only option for the date I want for this. What on earth? Theatre ticket pricing has gone insane in recent years.

I am sure more reasonable ones will become available. My reasoning is that sending out emails means they are not selling them as fast as they wanted or why send out an email at all. They could be holding them back. Last year they went on sale at TKTs so its reasonable to think they will again.

Seen some quick vids of the set on the socials today...
Have to say, not liking it at the moment and definitely a let down since the previous years.
However, it was one quick vid and I reckon it was the Finale/Walkdown so I can’t really judge it upon that.

Wow - mainstream, mass appeal shows are ruthlessly going for the monied crowd now, aren't they? No question.
The acceleration of prices (which, I think, started when Book of Mormon arrived) is in the stratosphere - London wants the kind of ticket prices that are the New York norm.

I think they're forgetting that pantomime's main audience is families! They will be priced out by those ridiculous prices. Even by London standards, those are just dreadful. Sadly, it's similar to the family musicals including Wicked, Matilda and Lion King. They are all setting high prices and therefore end up with half-empty auditoriums on some nights. People just don't have that kind of money to see shows.

And the two times I've been before, there have actually been very little children in the audience.

I guess celebrities such as Dawn French would draw adults in, and people may go as a fun night out so you make a good point danieljohnson14

Actually a seat just popped up! Side view for 49.50 was more than I wanted to pay, but considering others are paying upwards of 100, figured why not.

I know from working there that there are some seats at the side of the Royal Circle at the Pally. I think they use them for latecomers but if the show sells out perhaps they would sell them last minute at a discounted rate?

I know from working there that there are some seats at the side of the Royal Circle at the Pally Those the chairs that they used to classify as a "box" despite being more sort of stuck on that raised bit behind the balustrade? Yep those ones. They provide a reasonable unrestricted view to the best of my knowledge. They're just at the side is all.
