Would you like me to find the tweet? Totally substantiated.

If there’s a specific technical cheat for todaytix then that def sucks, but I’ve seen from twitter that fan groups of certain shows often seem to team together when it comes to buying tickets, and then tweeting stuff like “I’ve got 2 tix in my basket if anyone wants”, which deprives people who aren’t part of the fan group, so it seems a bit of pot calling the kettle black there 🤷🏻♀️
Re. Six I’ve def seen a lot of tweets recently within the fandom with people pissed about the competition between fans etc, so maybe there’s just a bit of angst at the mo!

I’ll just wait for it to hit Cardiff and we can have a row to ourselves. 😂

Just for information...only just noticed. If you go into the show booking page at the very bottom of the page, there is a really detailed info section about the history of each theatre.A good read.

Rush today for Fiddler was quite stressful. Was there before ten ready to click, then it turned ten and it said that there all in other users basket! I thought fiddler would be the easiest rush so god help me for Come From Away lol! Got some restricted row D seats in the circle.

Just had an email from today tix saying that we have had a seat shift! In E 2-3 now so the same seats but a row back. Think this will be better because of the railing !

The last time I got moved, I didn't even get an email (42nd Street). But as they'd moved me from one end row seat to the other end of the same row I didn't really care. Seemed a bit weird though.
I've found lately I'm using TodayTix only for day seats/lotteries though. For anything else, I see a discount on TodayTix and think "Aha, discounts available" then do some Googling until I find where the discount really is and can buy the tickets without the TodayTix fee.

I tried to do that but when they have £15 tickets for 24 hours usually I cannot find anywhere else better offer. I've never got charged extra fee on top of the price

I'm not bothering to check the "£15 tickets for 24 hours" deals any more as every time I have done so, the offer is either for standing (no can do) or really appalling seats, eg at the very rear of the stalls. Why would I book those seats at all, let alone so far ahead when there will probably be genuinely attractive deals in due course?

It used to be you could pick up a bargain, which I have done a few times, now the £15 deals are usually rubbish tickets and I don't book.

Interesting. I used to get some great seats on the £15 deal. A shame to read. Yes I’ve noticed that other than the lottery or rush tickets it’s not worth using much any more.

Why would I book those seats at all, let alone so far ahead when there will probably be genuinely attractive deals in due course? True - the £15 tickets are often bad seats / bad offers. But not always. I keep checking these offers and every now and again I pick up a gem. Yesterday I of the Iguana booked for the dress circle, the best deal I saw so far. On the other hand today's Bitter Wheat offer only gave me the worst seats possible

Same, except I usually remember to do the googling after buying on TT When I do remember on the right side of the purchase I always end up with a better price and better seats by buying elsewhere.

I've found recently with the £15 deals they tend to have better seats for £25 in the same deal, so not quite as much of a bargain but still worth looking at.

I've just had today's email offering tickets for The Illusionists for £15. I clicked the link and the only day where the £15 price showed was for the early Saturday morning show, so I clicked that only to see the cheapest tickets available were £25. Is it actually legal to offer tickets at a certain price and then none be available? Having said that, I clicked the link and the seats offered where in the circle, next to back row and on another site, they were £45 so still a bargain, but a bit annoying.

People are taking full advantage of their “cheat” on TodayTix.
Especially the Six crazy fans! Was on the rush today, wanting to get tickets for my first time seeing the show, and bang on 10am all tickets are already gone and I see posts on Twitter saying “I’ve got tickets for you (so and so)”
I think it’s sooo wrong and should be reported to TodayTix.

What is the cheat? I've been trialling the rush tickets for a few weeks now and it's impossible. Now I know why. Unless todaytix introduces a no transfer policy for rush tickets this situation cannot be remedied. At the end they are not doing anything against the rules

What is the cheat? Changing the time on your phone. At the minute it's working because only a few have 'access to the secret'. If we share it out and make it as public as possible it does them over. TT have been tweeted about it and remain unresponsive.

When did theatre fans become so entitled and think these shows are their own personal property?

So THAT's how a certain person on Twitter gets rush tickets almost every day! I thought it was disgustingly selfish even before I knew there was a "cheat" (I couldn't see how there could be one, and I couldn't imagine how the same people were getting rush all the time)
