So, Chichester is set to revive Me & My Girl, which, hopefully will find its way into the West End and it got me thinking-what other shows would you like to see brought back? We’ve got The Light Princess in concert, so what other shows could work as semi-staged versions, too?

The Music Man, at Drury Lane, instead of Frozen.

I’m happy to attend the occasional Event which might go down the less elaborate staging route, but I certainly don’t want semi-staged versions to become the norm. Either it’s a concert or it’s a proper production. And the prices reflect the choice the producers have made.

Kiss of the Spiderwpman Sunset Boulevard- based on the original and not the nonsense currently touring Aida-with a new book...the book scenes are really cringeworthy Gypsy-With LuPone

I second (third... fourth...) Hedwig and the Angry Inch
And the musical version of Kiss of the Spiderwoman
Personally I'd love to see Children of Eden at last, I've always been fond of the CD but missed the short revival at the Union Theatre last year.

I'd also love to see Kiss of The Spiderwoman,.. Surely Man of La Mancha must be in the cards at the National or Chichester at some point...
A big production of Into The Woods... and I know it hasn't been long but please bring back In The Heights

I warmly second 'Carmen Jones' (so long it is not done with an all-white cast – sorry, but I couldn't resist that one re the all-white 'Porgy and Bess') but at one time I was obsessed with the Broadway cast album of 'Tenderloin' (Bock & Harnick 1960) and I would love to see it performed, but whether it would be stageworthy today I have no idea. It ran only 216 performances in 1960.

Sunset - the proper original version from the Adelphi. Carousel - Nick Hytners 1993 version. And I’m dying for a grand revival of My Fair Lady.

The lyrics made me smile and can you confirm they were something like? "he acted celestial, when I wanted bestial..." (Google not helpnig so I maybe barking in the wrong forrest?) Would also love to see their Fiorella, at one time Radio 2 played "A Little Tin Box" once a week. My annual plea for Pal Joey or any Rogers and HART musical.

I’d like to see ‘Tommy’ revived even bigger and flashier than the original, possibly in a ‘War of the Worlds’ style arena tour with some fantastic rock voices including Kerry Ellis as Mrs Walker.

Groundhog Day, Jerry Springer The Opera and Jekyll and Hyde (though it probably STILL needs a bit more work on the book).

Another vote for Hedwig (have been watching the new season of Mozart in the Jungle today, with JCM in it being extremely striking), ideally with a woman for the lead.
The Music Man.
Annie Get Your Gun - have really loved this score over the last couple of years.
Parade.
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
Has 'The Visit' ever played London at all? Likewise 'The Sweet Smell of Success'. Either way, would like to see both.
