Hahahaha this is the current struggle we are having. We don't know. The date is the 12th October form what I know the struggle is they ARE REFUSING TO ANNOUNCE THE CAST DEFYING ALL LOGIC Not to mention that one of the principals, Djavan van de Fliert, has only 3 weeks left! Is the new Enjolras starting sooner? Are we bringing someone back as temporary replacement? Is Ben Culleton going to be covering the role for that time? WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?! |

I know JVJ does seven shows a week. Is the actor always off on Mondays or does it vary?

I know JVJ does seven shows a week. Is the actor always off on Mondays or does it vary? For the most part (and for the past couple of casts) this has been true. On a few rare occasions, this might change (Chris Jacobsen, the Valjean alternate has done a couple of Friday shows). And on even rarer occasions, the alternate doesn't go on. This has happened for Milan I believe 2 times, though they might give him an extra day off the next week. But GENERALLY if you go on on a Monday, the lead won't be on. |

I’ve been if it’s not this week it’ll definitely be next week in the announcement for the best part of a month |

It does like seem like a lot of the Les Mis focus and PR-attention is on the opening of the arena tour at the moment. That starts in Belfast on Thursday, so it wouldn’t surprise me if the West End announcement is being held so as not to clash with that…
With Milan staying to mid-Oct there’s still a month to go, although I know others are leaving / have left sooner.

the tour does change the timeline slightly. they'll have held the west end casting announcement to space it all out.
