I think that Stephanie Roja was absolutely outstanding - In LA made me well up, very raw. I also enjoyed Molly McGuire as Serena, she really committed to the character and Simon Anthony as Schlomo, although he looked slightly older to his high school counterparts, I liked his quirkiness and had great chemistry with Stephanie as Carmen. I wasn't a fan of Mica's acting but her singing - These Are My Children - had me actually applauding from my bed - her control and range is incredible.

I tried to watch it. I found it terrible and lasted 47 minutes according to YT. Thats a full 35 minutes longer than me then. It’s not a great show is it? I remember going to the opening night at the Cambridge and it has just been shrunk & faded with every production. Relatively simple to stage so it just gets simplified further to save money.

It seems such a different show to how i remember it at the Cambridge... probably remembering it through rose coloured glasses... Mica Paris was rough acting and vocally and it was scaled down to nothing. Whats with the old year book pictures??
