Has anyone else ever dreamt they watched a musical that doesn’t actually exist in real life. The set, songs, costumes - I mean a song or two not a full show? I dreamt about a futuristic themed Broadway show with a torquoise set and three revolves - the choreography was excellent. Ha.
How on earth can this be possible? Parallel universe? I woke up thinking how on earth can I dream such detail instantly if this show doesn’t exist?! Weird.

Yes! Two or three times I've dreamt I was at a production of CLUE! - a musical version of the Jonathan Lynn film (based on the board game) starring Tim Curry.
I love that film, so somewhere in the windmills of my mind I must be imagining a musical version.
When I wake up I never remember any of the songs/lyrics, but I remember the set is like a dolls-house with the rooms on 3 floors, like looking at the board game from above. The wallpaper in the fake corridors looks like the spaces on the game board. The "secret passageways" allow the players to seemingly move from one floor to another.
All highly impractical, I'm sure - and the sightlines would be a nightmare. So maybe one for The Other Palace... 😉

Not scripted musicals but I've dreamt multiple times about non-existant improv shows from either Showstoppers or Mischief Theatre, probably because I've seen so many shows from both companies when awake!

Not quite a musical that doesn't exist...but I did dream that I was watching Wicked - in the role of Elphaba was Jabba the Hutt.

I’ve been checking online for returns for Romantics Anonymous for the past two days, and in my dream last night I saw it was on at the Gielgud between Ferryman and company. It must have been so realistic because I genuinely believed it was happening.
