Are they saving front row for day seats? I really liked the seat I had for Young Marx last weekend, but looked at about 10 dates and not a single front row seat available for any of them. Wasn't expecting to pay £25 like I did for YM, but not going to pay £55 for something in the second row 11 months in advance.

We got front row for £25, just needed to move past opening weeks to a later October weekday evening.

I bought front row for £25 so I would guess that you just missed out, although it does seem extraordinarily bad luck that you would miss out considering it's not that major a venue and the play's not opening for another eleven months.

Is this the same configuration as YM and if so, how high is the stage? (Not been there yet..)

Not only Very easy to book (by telephone) but also Very easy to resolve my Very stupid error- I went and booked for the same date I've booked to see Company next year...! Telephoned the box-office immediately after I'd realised my mistake. Answered once again in less than a minute and dealt with by a Very bright and friendly lady ("Don't worry, I'm sure we can sort this out for you...") who didn't even charge me a fee to exchange. Very impressed, Bridge Theatre. Bravo! A whole year away though...!

although it does seem extraordinarily bad luck Eleven months in advance - No front row availability at sekected performance. Eleven months and one hour in advance - Front row for sale. A very very very poor ticket-purchasing strategy, Marwood.

Ditto to the comments above over the ease of getting tickets. The lack of booking fee shouldn't, but genuinely does, surprise me (nicely)! I adore The Pillowman, so I have high hopes for this one, plus I'm excited to visit this new space. I love ticking a new venue off the list so much.
I went for the second row £25 seats 7-8 as Theatremonkey shows them as green on his site, and for £25 I can't complain! The scary thought is though, with this and Company booked a year in advance, my 2018 is already rapidly filling up - I think I must qualify for some kind of theatre shopping counselling...

Also no restriction on buying a single seat leaving a single seat (BTW there is a a single front row £25 seat left for the matinee on November 7th)

Well having seen how quickly the tickets have gone, I bit the bullet and got a front row seat for a Saturday night at the end of October - I'm sure the time will absolutely fly by...(just hoping Jim Broadbent makes it through until then in one piece, he's not exactly a spring chicken, is he?)

I had no idea what this was about and having booked ahead for Young Marx, only to find plenty of seats still available during the run (and some better and cheaper than mine), I didn't even look until today. Having done so, and much as I like some of Martin McDonagh's work, I find it sounds absolutely ghastly (historical setting, mention of a writer of fairytales etc), so unless it turns out to be a rave and there are day seats, I shall steer well clear. Happy to save the money and not to have to commit to a time and date so far ahead, too!

Only Martin McDonagh can breathe poetry into three simple words: Not. A. Word. Not a word, not a word, not a word, not a word, not a word, not a word, not a word. (Pause.) Not a word. (The Cripple of Inishmaan.) He's a genius!

I'm not convinced, @caiaphas, but at least I wasn't joining the rush to book and from the sound of it so far, the day-seaters may also have nothing to fear from me. I've never seen The Cripple Of Inishmaan, nor wanted to, and though I did see a revival of The Beauty Queen Of Lenane, it was more a case of admiring than liking or enjoying it, as it was just so horrible. MM's films however, dark as they also are, somehow sit better with me and I still regard In Bruges as his masterpiece. Maybe it was because there seemed to be a better mix of comedy and tragedy, or that the tragedy was so farcical that it took the edge off, whereas in his plays I haven't found it so.

...which pleases me, because I'm going straight from Euston to the Bridge, then (in theory) straight from the Bridge to the Young Vic for Twelfth Night before getting the late train home. If this is only 90 minutes, I might be able to do something that day besides watch plays and drink coffee.

Looking forward to this. Only 3 weeks from tomorrow until 23 nights in London. Actually 21 nights in London and 2 nights in Kent. Am beyond thrilled. My family wonders how I can be so organized for my trip but yet have a hard time navigating from one day to the next.
