I think (usually) the DMT website is one of the best.. very easy to use, well laid out and easy to choose your seat from the plans.

Given all the above comments I'm quite relieved that I had no great interest in this and was even less inclined due to the casting of one person in particular. If it turns out to get brilliant reviews I'll have to hope there are still tix - or rather, that more affordable ones are released.

I just couldn’t get the website to work at all for me this morning after half an hour in the queue and gave up,but have since managed to get an £18 row A ticket on the balcony at the last weekend of its run - it states the safety rail is in view but rather that than seeing the back of someone’s head, and that price is infinitely more appealing than the eye watering price of the front row stalls tickets.

Held off as well as there will be Day Seats if Sonia Friedman producing. Much cheaper and much closer. And no need to shell out the crazy prices they're charging, yet still be down the front. Yay! |

Definitely agree with flow, so like a random lottery selection by the hour or something. Although, Even though I was last on Friedman mailing list I think it’s fair that the people the longest on the list get the first chance to book. If they manage the queue properly - only letting a few in at a time so that the server is protected, it should be smooth. Being fair to Ticketmaster, they cope pretty well on the whole now with far bigger events than this one. "Longest on the list" is an interesting idea, but again, so is "those taking the time to try right from the start." No way is really fair except the old system of everybody writing in and doing it all by post at box office staff's own speed, perhaps. They could make it a little fairer by at least making sure everyone has the link ahead of time, I've never been waiting for a presale link after the event has started before. |

I’m not a member of anything, I just signed up on the website for the presale yesterday, got the email with the link this morning and booked this afternoon. There were loads of seats available.
Ok I’ve paid full price but, I’m seeing it right st the start of the run so that’s a premium isn’t it.
I’m not sure what people are complaining about. Were there some super cheap tickets going for some selected few or something? If not, then what?

@burlybear for me it was getting the stalls row C/D for £65 / £70.
May have been some cheaper seats in the Gods, my preference is always to be close to the stage as I like to see the actors mannerisms close up.
The £10 tickets if they appear will be a lottery and depends on how brave you are.
By the way the new Avatar is definitely striking.

For me it was because I wanted a specific date, which is not usually the case. II lost all the £70 stalls seats in front of the premiums.

I did have a snap of me thirty seconds later sniffing my fingers but thought it might not go down well. I am totally with you though. I’m front stalls all the way usually and will pay more to be close because I don’t go to the theatre as often as many of our members here. That seat in the circle is a cracker though. |

Site seemed to move a lot quicker this morning, presumably because everybody in the world had priority booking  Queue of 90 people when I looked at 10:30. Back and front of stalls still not released. |

I've held off booking, perhaps unwisely, but it just seems too pricey. I'd only go for the balcony prices, but I don't really want to sit in the balcony. I'm holding out for day seats I suppose...

£150....
I paid less than a third of that for a seat in the dress circle, with a programme thrown in. The premium tickets, yes, are very expensive, but there are cheaper alternatives with a perfectly good view of the stage.

Avoid the slips in the grand circle and balcony. Row K in the stalls has a terrible off-set, particularly in the middle. A few people feel the same about the back two rows of the stalls as well. Much more on my site on this one. In general the front dress circle and front few rows of stalls are about the best views, as you would expect. The balcony is pretty far away, though, and the grand circle is pretty high. Great advice! If legroom is an issue, you’re better in stalls than dress circle! Very tight up there |

I read both of those but Theatremonkey says that the legroom isn't good but the people on Seatplan give the legroom good reviews.
