Camelot and Passion in the Minerva would be my wishlist. Evans loves Sondheim so was surprised he didnt feature in his debut season.

I'd love them to do a revival of Jerry Herman's Mame in the main house. A Sondheim would also be fabulous - A Little Night Music maybe.

Whistle’s book could do with a tinkering. Perhaps replace Simple with a ballet section (similar to the Cookie Chase) and I’ve got you to lean on could do with tightening. Plus insert there’s always a woman - brilliant song

The Union did that pretty recently, and the Jermyn Street theatre less recently but relatively, not that long ago. For a show that's so weird with such problems, I'd be surprised to see any sort of revival on a larger scale than those...but stranger things have happened!

I saw the Union production, glad i ticked it off my Sondheim list but its an odd piece and i too would be v surprised to see a large scale revival.

Well I was gutted they did Fiddler this year as Ive never been a fan, I'm dying to see something at Chichester, I had the chance to see Sixpence and decided against it...!!! fingers crossed for something good... Kiss of the Spiderwoman need to be done somewhere soon too!! I would travel anywhere in the U.K for that.

Risky musicals aren't Chichester's forte, they tend to stick with fairly safe musicals, Sweeney Todd and Gypsy being the exceptions had star names.
Camelot, Brigadoon and Mame would be my choices as well as Me and My Girl, if they were to do a new musical, something like The Hunchback of Notre Dame would be neat

(I’d never seen it, had fairly low expectations and came out completely converted.) Likewise with Sixpence. There was something very special about seeing Charlie Stemp’s first appearance as a lead, a bit star is bornish, and despite the show’s fairly lukewarm London reception, it was a treat. A trip to Chichester never disappoints. For all the grumbling about the blue-rinse brigade, I always find a great mix of people in the audience, everyone smiles, and there’s always an excited buzz when the musicals are on.

I really wish he would show Flowers For Mrs Harris. It was stunning and deserves a longer life.

I hear from a pretty reliable source it's Me and My Girl. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Your Zzzzzzzz is my Yaaaaaay - I've been waiting for this show for years but despite persistent rumours nothing has come together so far. This would finally give me an excuse to trek down to Chichester.

God i hope its me and my girl, been waiting years for that to come back. Although people said the menier were doing it this Christmas and look how that turned out, so i won't get hopes up yet. Chichester is an ideal venue for it though

Didnt Evans do it at Sheffield? Surely he could do something else?

I’d be very surprised if they do this as Evans did a (great) version in Sheffield not too long ago. Unless he is planning on staging that production again. Doesn’t seem like a very Chichester thing to do though

Doesn’t seem like a very Chichester thing to do though I think that it is a very Chichester thing to co-produce remounts of other companies' successful productions at Chichester and then transfer them to the West End and UK tour. In the last couple of years, they've done this with Love's Labour's Lost and Much Ado about Nothing (RSC) and This House (NT).

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Me and My Girl on Broadway in the next few years. Gavin Creel and Sutton Foster have both expressed how much they wanna do it, and do it with eachother, and with both of them being big musical theatre names, it kinda feels like one of those things that will inevitably happen.
