Ah ha that has helpfully solved my 'what on earth play is it that you're asking these questions about Mateo?' and 'What do I see in my spare London slot' questions. Merci!

And as if Mateo wasn't enough, it also stars Kasia Pelka, she of 'Brookside' fame and of course 'William & Catherine: A Royal Romance' where she tugged at our heartstrings as Carole Middleton.
Booked. Big tick.

I was really shameless and thirsty claiming my press ticket when I saw he was in it.
Me: I can do the 10th but also the 11th or any day Mateo is in the building.
What an awful woman I am.
Obviously, I will be front row, hoping he sits on my knee like he did in Shock Treatment

A big ask but I sadly have a cold and need to rest up. Would anyone be interested in attending a press night tonight (10 October 19:30)? Completely free but I would require a review on viewfromthecheapseat.com

Review of this on the blog! www.finboroughtheatre.co.uk/productions/2017/the-busy-world-is-hushed.phpLoved it. By far my highlight of the weekend theatre-wise. Really interesting play, that asks big questions in a very human way and feels informed by the characters as well. Lovely to see Mateo get to show off what he can really do. (Though we did have a giggle about some lines that reference a certain other recent play!) I'm starting a one woman campaign on this one. Please see it!

I saw this yesterday and adored it. Knew nothing about it beforehand. Mateo Oxley was my reason for going. I ended up loving the play itself and the whole cast (of three). The production works so well in such an intimate space. The themes are nothing I've ever spared much thought on until now but I'm still thinking about the whole thing now - and probably will for a while.
I'm definitely going back before the end of the run.
Highly recommended.
