Still to see

Last year i finally ticked off Oklahoma! This year was Funny Girl. With the NT's forthcoming Threepenny Opera it's another one to tick off. Then all i have to see is Gigi, The Frogs, The Visit, The Rink and Moby Dick, then I am complete and i can die happy ! 

Has anyone seen everything they want to? 

Of course lots that does not appeal. Rock of Ages and School of Rock i'm looking at you!

Hamilton and Next to Normal are the ones that first spring to mind. Doesn't mean I have seen every other musical there is though. There are enough shows that simply don't interest me so I won't bother watching them even if I get the chance.

I've never seen a profesional production of Annie which is a notable omission on my list. I also caught an amateur production of Little Women the Musical and loved it so would love to see what could be done with a bigger budget.
I regret never seeing 'real' Starlight Express and still hope to get to Bochum to see it before it goes (or a proper revival!)

I don't think it's possible to see every show ever written, and I think it's equally impossible to want to see every show ever written. And there are always going to be new ones coming that one will want to see but doesn't know right now for one cannot see the future. That said, and keeping it to just musicals, I'm slowly dying waiting for the Open Air Theatre to finally do the Marsha Norman/Lucy Simon version of The Secret Garden.

I still want to see an excellent production of Man of La Mancha. I know there should be one, someday. (and please refrain from saying that this is an Impossible Dream).

I'd like to have seen a production of Mame with Imelda Staunton. Although, Ruthie Henshall might be a joy.

Always wanted to see Little Shop of Horrors. So glad it's touring and I can tick it off.

Not many left. Still gutted that I missed First Date and Big Fish on Broadway. Also like to see Addams Family and Little Mermaid.

I have seen loads of shows (many several times) but fear I am a theatre glutton and have an extension wish list including Newsies, Martin Guerre, Mame, Bye Bye Birdie, Flower Drum Song, State Fair, Dear World, The Light In The Piazza, Bridges Of Madison County, She Loves Me and By Jeeves. To name a few off the top of my head.

I have a few but thankfully fringe & some am dram is filling in some gaps!!

I went to see a AM 'Chess' last year with mother in Windsor & whilst it wasn't the best production values I enjoyed the score & now obsessed with the cast album so I need to see this as a proper big production

I agree that it's simply not possible to see every show ever written. One show I'd still love to see live on stage is Me and My Girl, which was just ending its London run when I got interested in musicals in the late 80's.

And although it's just a pipe dream, I'd like for someone to pick up the Israeli musical Masada. I had ignored it for years, but after visiting the historic site near the Dead Sea, I managed to rustle up a copy of the CD and really liked it. It's a bit of a depressing weepy (it came out during the years the success of Les Mis triggered an avalanche of weepsicals) but lovely music and after years of bland jukebox musicals and film adaptations I'd actually welcome a show like this.

I'm hoping to tick a couple off next year since Finding Neverland and School of Rock are coming across the pond. I'd also really like to see Whistle Down The Wind, Legally Blonde, The Secret Garden and Aida.

I really want to see Bonnie & Clyde come to the West End, maybe somewhere like the Southwark Playhouse or a small theatre like Charring Cross or the Dutchess!

Wish I had seen The Producers when it was in London. It was one of those shows that I kept thinking I must get around to see but never did.
If Newsies ever comes over would like to see that.
