Yes, getting the tickets was easier than I thought, too! I got put in the queue at random places on different browsers (32, 64, 600's and 300's for some examples!) and seemed to be staying in one position for a very long time. Then I opened a new tab and selected the date I wanted to go for first and I found some sort of glitch in the matrix and it took me straight to the booking page! Managed to grab 2 Under 25 tickets in Row B, very much looking forward to it!! I've tried to log back in and check out availability but it's not letting me view any booking pages when I click on a date, just telling me open booking will start on 30th Sept (useful for no one...) and that I don't have access to priority booking, which possibly means that the system knows my account has booked a maximum of 2 tickets and I'm out! I have benefited from the same glitch, as the page I was originally waiting on had frozen on an emblematic "this page will refresh automatically in 0 sec" - which it evidently was never going to do... I opened another tab, clicked on a random date, and was led directly to the seating plan. That felt nothing short of miraculous (as if I hadn't felt already extremely lucky I'd won the ballot!!).

I didn't get it either.
Ah well, I'll console myself by re-watching Coriolanus.

Got tickets to this, rather to my surprise. I completely forgot about it until this afternoon (had a rather tricky doctor's appointment this morning) and then the notification was in my junk email, but there were still plenty of tickets (albeit not the cheaper ones).

I've seen a few reports now of people who haven't received an email one way or another. I wonder if these are the people who might potentially be lucky on the 15th, or if they're going to redraw names from all the unlucky people and the emails just haven't arrived for some other reason.

Majority of nights showing limited availability now, doesn't look good for a second round of ballot.

Just had an email from RADA, I've been successful second time round (there actually having any decent seats left when I can book tomorrow might be a different story, however)

Oh wow Marwood that's amazing! I cannot believe there were seats left. Good luck finding something that suits. (And if you can't, I'm free!)

Well. I hope you didn't take that picture on your phone yourself during the show? Tut.

Pretty please? There should be decent seats left, as they will be the £95 ones. If that's too expensive for you, I will happily pay for your ticket!

Well. I hope you didn't take that picture on your phone yourself during the show? Tut. Shamelessly ripped from NT Live's twitter feed darling. I would never be so crass. I was doing anything I'd be grabbing young Andy

I got front row seats at the side (if you're paying £95 a go, might as well get as close to the action as possible), anyone know if its a stage, or just open flooring?

My only possible gripe would be that railing, but I'm not an oompa loompa so hopefully should be able to see over it without too much bother. At least it looks like I won't be getting anyone kicking the back of the seat.

I can deal with anything, to be in the room where it happens.

Hmm, so now I have some brain-space to think about the actual production....
Branagh said it would be a pared down version - do we think he might be using the same edit of the script as he was going to use for the Donmar West End season, when he was going to be directing Jude Law? That was about 3 hours, and completely cut the Fortinbras sub-plot.

He probably means Hiddles will just have couple of chairs and a skull. Perhaps a shovel if they're feeling extravagant.

Just heard from another person who was lucky in the ballot, the second raft but can't afford the £95 a ticket. There are some for each show apparently. So what a shame people who would fork out cant go! Bet the touts have a field day, hoovering up..

I wonder what they'll do if they have seats left after this ballot draw? Put them on public sale? Or quietly offer them to friends of RADA?
(My money's on the latter.)
It's the drawback of a ballot - lots of people must have entered who could only afford the cheap tickets, and have been randomly selected when there are only the most expensive ones left.
I guess what they really needed was a check-box for the amount people were prepared to pay, so they could draw the right proportion of £15, £45 and £95 ballots.

Can't they just do a draw at a particular date for the people who weren't chosen in the first batch and offer them the chance to buy the rest of the tickets?
They should have just put all of the tickets at the same price. Anyone with any knowledge of theatre would have known that it's obvious that lots of people would enter the ballot to get the cheap seats. It is a fundraising event after all. £15 isn't going to buy RADA very much.

Ryan, that's what yesterday's draw was. They said initially that would be it, the last chance, so not sure if they'll announce a re-draw/re-ballot registration for the remaining tickets - it'll be kind of embarrassing to publicise that, erm, it hadn't actually sold out after all, hottest ticket in town or not....
If it was a pure fundraising effort, they could have run a silent auction and maximised their per ticket revenue. They'd have been accused of elitism, though. Cheap tickets are to make it 'accessible'.
