Finally something at Hampstead to get excited about. I really like the venue and the under 30 tickets are good value.

Yes, does sound good - Drawing The Line was one of those great, understatedly brilliant plays so will def give Lawrence a go.

Looking at booking these - has anyone sat in the back row of the circle (Row Q) - thinking of going for this as it's only £18 but wondered if anyone has any comments on the view

Yes I did for Mr Foote's other leg, they really weren't bad, I felt rather far away but then I like front row, but you're much nearer obviously that you'd be in a larger theatre. After much umming and ahhing as the seats I wanted had all gone I bought one of these again today as the price made it feel more justifiable. If if was something i really, really wanted to see up close i'd have gone and spent more, but in my head the price increase was too much to upgrade.

Can anyone confirm if the aisle runs all the way up both sides of the circle at Hampstead?
I'm taking advantage of my NUS card while I can and want to book for Wild Honey. I am trying to make up my mind between £10 for Row Q or £15 for Row B... I know where the aisles run in the stalls but have never sat upstairs there before. Sounds like it might be worth trying the £10 Row Q though...

Can't confirm the aisles since the further I sat there was row L in the Arcade but I would go for Row B anyway for the simple reason - it's much closer, stage is low, rake is good.

God I love a matinee at the Hampstead Theatre. I think I'm the youngest one here by quite some way. Next time I come I'll bring some defibrillators just in case. Word of warning though. This crowd are stickers for a queue. God help anyone who they think might jump! It'll be a bloodbath.

Well. Rather like Julie Jordan, this is a queer one. It's all rather slight but nicely played by the leads. It does have some interesting things to say about what happens to the population after a war but it probably needs a bit more fleshing out. Ben Lloyd-Hughes is delightful to look at and listen to (and has lovely arms) and Claire Lams has the look of a young Helen Mirren about her so we'll no doubt see her playing Her Maj at some point. An interesting hour and a bit and I was clearly the youngest person in the audience so that cheered me up no end!
