Isn't it remarkable that every exciting project goes to this devilish theatre?

And David Oakes. I've just booked a front-row gallery seat, it should be short enough for me to survive and row A does at least offer a vaguely respectable view.

I don't mean to put anyone off if they have booked there or are planning on booking there, but I would never sit in the Gallery again at this theatre. I think the only way I would was if it were free. The view was fine, you can see everything (though a tad distant), but the seats are so uncomfortable, they are just metal bars between you and the person next to you, but not even like arm rests, but right next to the booty, so if you have a big booty like myself, the bars are just digging into you the whole show. Also, there is no real backs to the chairs. Honest to god, I don't know if I could ever stomach sitting there again.

I'll get my coat....

Directed by Patrick Marber.
I saw the movie in the cinema and it held my attention but I forgot it afterwards.

I wouldn't sit in the gallery for a three hour epic but I survived Taken At Midnight pretty well. If you think you can handle a hard wooden bench with limited/no wiggle room for a couple of hours, they can be a decent bargain, but I wouldn't take anything that wasn't row A, and I will be spending the next few months praying this one doesn't sell very well so I can hopefully get an upgrade to an actual seat.

Ahaha funnily enough, at interval of Breakfast at Tiffanys I moved down to the next level, just because I couldn't handle it anymore!

I was at this theatre last night for The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia and sat in the front rows stalls, the stage is high, but for £5 I saw everything, I hope they repeat these fine seats. Nothing I heard makes me think this will sell very well.
However I wanted to see this on Broadway, but missed it, so more than happy it is coming to London now, I will be there in a shot.

This is the most exciting casting for ages to me, even more than Cate Blanchett. Ive been a fan of Natalies since The Tudors and she has great screen presence that i hope carries over to the stage. David is a great actor and im glad he is headlining a West End production

But then I'm one of those that would buy a ticket thinking that it just might. Sometimes you see someone on TV and you think "OMG this person is going places". That was my reaction to her Tudor appearance. But then I thought that every time I saw Meg Foster. Maybe it's the eyes?

Like I say i hope it carries over and i will definately be getting a ticket to find out! Her career so far is going pretty well The Tudors, GOT and Hunger Games. Its nice to see she is trying to be an all rounder.

It's not like Dormer has never been on stage. She was excellent (and incredibly sexy) in After Miss Julie at the Young Vic a few years back.

I'm a bit torn about whether to book now for this.
David Oakes is very pretty and was good in Shakespeare in Love but in his TV stuff he seems to revert to smug 'smell the fart' acting.
Natalie Dormer though...

Am afraid this sounds awful to me and an odd choice for TRH!

I would happily watch him peel potatoes for 6 hours so booked. We'll see.

Ooh, David Oakes! When I watched The Borgias I instantly googled him. Even among that cast he was the immediate stand out.

Natalie and David are both well known enough to pull in a fair few casual theatre goers and both their careers are on the up. Add in they are both very photogenic and it's probably 5 years since Natalie was on stage in After Miss Julie. She has taken on some challenging, slightly obscure stage roles down the years, she was excellent in Sweet Nothings about 7 years ago, so this sort of role obviously appeals to her.

What great news to come home to. Didn't care much for David Oakes in TV stuff like the Borgias and Pillars of the Earth, as he seemed to have cornered the market in playing psychopathic weirdos, but he won me over live in Shakespeare in Love. Big GOT fan and I love seeing GOT folks live on stage, so Natalie Dormer will be a great one to add! Still gutted about Margaery's demise.

Shame about the play itself, which was overinflated rubbish on Broadway - though Hugh Dancy did provide immediate eye candy. Nina Arianda by the time I saw it was playing her reviews and was borderline intolerable.
