10-12 people in a row (v tight) + 5-7 on both sides as far as I remember.. 4 rows, avoid the second by all means as it has no rake. Grab a cushion if you can as chairs are not comfy (not at all!). I imagine people arriving too early (like an hour before) would be ones who want to sit in the front row so if you and your company are flexible with that, I think half an hour before the start is okay. You may start Q-ing and enjoy a drink at the bar at the same time just make sure you tell everyone you're not just standing there ) There was some confusion with that the night I went.. Good luck!  UPD: I was at The Dazzle only. They might have changed smth since then. |

I'd probably avoid those seats behind though, as you have to look over the bed when the action is in the foreground, and the bed might obscure some of the action. Rumbledoll is right that unraked row 2 should be avoided. The queue started forming around half an hour to go, and begins immediately to the left as you walk through the door, with the bar on your right. |

Completely blown away by this. Last time I left a theatre felling so "wrung out" was Cabaret at the Donmar. Wish it was a longer run so I could see it again. Bizarre but perfect venue for this play.

To paraphrase that great philosopher Shania Twain, James Norton is a fine piece of real estate and I'm gonna get me some land! First off. I  James Norton. Not quite in an "I'd go to prison for stalking him' way but close enough. I love his puppy dog eyes and his gentle voice and simply everything (I even rather loved him in 'Happy Valley' which my therapist is trying to work through with me) so I freely admit that I went into this rather biased. But oh my, it's sensational. It's creepy, it's disturbing, it's disorientating and strangely, it's very funny. Mr Norton is just glorious - although he's a touch deranged, he also manages to be incredibly lovable in an odd way. Wasn't as convinced by Kate Fleetwood I must admit but she was much better in the second act. I just couldn't see her as white trash living in a motel. Lovely bar area at the theatre with very nice staff but the auditorium is rubbish. Granted, yes I was within groping distance of Mr Norton but the seats are ridiculously uncomfortable and the view is patchy unless you're in the front row. I did find myself itching throughout it too. It's the bugs I tell you! |

At the risk of turning this into the Daily Heil I had no idea James Norton was dating Jessie Buckley. I like her so technically I am fine with it but it should still be me!

Yes, that caused some consternation in my household. Opinions were voiced that as they had played brother and sister in 'War and Peace' it was somehow wrong (and that there were other more appropriate alternatives right there in our living room, as it happens.)
She was at the show the night we saw it. I think she's brilliant so they have my blessing. I'm sure they are relieved about that.

He was in Journey's End (on tour and West End), and The Lion in Winter (Haymarket), and Posh (Royal Court only). Then he went over to TV - most notably Happy Valley (you simply MUST watch this, Sarah Lancashire is SUPERB), Grantchester (second season currently airing), and War & Peace (along with, like, everyone else). So I'm not *quite* trying to say you must live under a rock, as that would be exceptionally rude and I try to err on the side of cheeky, but considering War & Peace was 2016's big new year costume drama and the second series of both Happy Valley and Grantchester have followed on very quickly behind, it's certainly pretty impressive that you're still not entirely sure.  |

I genuinely watched none of the telly things - the reason I go to the theatre a lot is that it forces me to sit still and watch something; when I have the option to faff around and do other things, I have the attention span of a hyperactive toddler...! Haha, I know what you mean! Sometimes I purposefully watch things on the iPlayer app on my phone, because I know if I'm watching them on the TV then I'll just spend the time surfing the internet on my phone while I watch (or, more often, instead of watching). |

I've met him several times and I still don't know who he is. I mean I vaguely recognise him but I don't think I've ever seen him in anything. What TV would you recommend?

I saw James at the SWP at the Globe early last year. He was one of a group of six actors (Roger Allam, Deborah Findlay, Aidan Gillen,James Norton, Harriet Walter and Penelope Wilton)giving readings from various authors under the heading Winter's Tales. James read from three of F.Scott Fitzgerald’s short stories, finishing with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. He was funny, charming and absolutely delightful. Before seeing him in Bug, I'd only seen him live on stage on that one occasion, but have loved all the TV appearances. I think he gives a tremendously good performance in Bug and I was completely absorbed in the play all the way through, despite the uncomfortable seating!

This is very uncomfortable to watch and I suspect that Tracey Letts the playwright would have it no other way.
James Norton gives you an excellent performances, Kate Fleetwood also gives a thought provoking solid performance. Watching her I couldn't help making comparison with her last role in Medea and for me this is a modern day Medea of sorts..
1st visit to this venue and indeed it is a sh*t hole and surprised they got an entertainment licence, I would dread the summer here, as you are packed in like the proverbial sardine. Didn't see any evidence of air conditioning.
