Just had an email saying it's 25% off drinks up to half an hour before curtain.

Interesting that they’ve now restricted the discount to only up to 30 minutes before curtain up. In other words, they want you to go drinking in the theatre bars rather than elsewhere before the show. But the drinks you can’t avoid buying at the theatre, those to take in and interval drinks, remain undiscounted, unlike the previous arrangement. I think the discount is higher though, so the trick (if people feel it necessary) is to get there 35 minutes before curtain up and bulk buy...

Pity the bar staff dealing with people who were in the queue but didn't get served before the cutoff point..

Pity the bar staff dealing with people who were in the queue but didn't get served before the cutoff point.. As they're only used once or twice a year, before being put back in storage, perhaps ATG could borrow those notices that are now displayed at Polling Stations?

Just had an email saying it's 25% off drinks up to half an hour before curtain. Ah but does that mean you can order drinks for interval up to 30mins before curtain ... if not, I’m thinking we will order a bottle of wine/fizz 15 mins before the start, take a glass in and have the rest for the interval - yet again ATG haven’t thought this through

Just had an email saying it's 25% off drinks up to half an hour before curtain. STILL (after literally years of complaining and being told issues have been resolved) not receiving emails of any type whatsoever and this morning I was again charged a booking fee despite being logged in, so I've had to ring once more to complain and request a refund. It's so exhausting being an ATG member in these circumstances that I can rarely face even trying to book.

Pity the bar staff dealing with people who were in the queue but didn't get served before the cutoff point.. Most of the theatres I've been in 30mins before curtain up rarely have a queue at the bar. It's a fairly clever ploy to get people into the theatres earlier.

May be worth letting that account go, showgirl and starting fresh with a new account a month after the old one expires. When I had an email issue, they did add a second address and now I do get either one or two emails each time. Thank you for the suggestion, @theatremonkey ; actually it won't be that easy as my membership is on a DD and has only recently renewed itself. At the Duke of York's yesterday the box office assistant told me he could see 5 or 6 accounts for me, but only 2 of them linked to my membership. I have NO idea how this has happened and obviously I can't fix it but I'm sure when I last became aware of this particular problem (as opposed to any of the others I've had with ATG and about which I've complained) a couple of years ago, I was told that they were migrating or combining several box office systems and that the multiple account issue would be fixed. Instead it seems they are breeding...

I appreciate it's a bit of a faff on your part, showgirl, but maybe a way forward, for the price of a stamp, would be to submit a GDPR request to ATG. Then when you definitively know what information they hold on you, you can insist it is updated and corrected with the full backing of the law behind you.

Thank you for the interesting suggestion, TallPaul. I'm not sure that would show up my multiple accounts, though, as I have only one email address and password. However, I have no experience of making a GDPR request so am not sure about the format in which data would be provided.

Not starting a new thread for this one, but just clocked that on the Nectar website you can get 2 nectar points for every £1 spent on the ATG tickets website. You have to click through the nectar website to get the purchase 'tracked' so cookies need to be enabled. Not tried this out yet, but a bit peeved I've only just noticed this having very recently brought multiple tickets for Sunday in the Park and the Phantom tour! Probably missed out on a £5 of points. www.nectar.com/brands/atg-tickets#collect

So ATG constantly bang on about the perks such as drink offers etc and amongst the perks is mention of a "dedicated booking line". I am yet to actually find this number. Anywhere.
Has anyone ever seen it or found it?
The logical place for it would be on the back of the physical card. I can't see it there or on any letter, in any email or anywhere on the website. They have this new shiny private Facebook group for Theatrecard Members where you can't post anything and the admin ignores you if you tag them.
Useless. Rant.

The “Theatrecard team” is 0330 102 7200. I’d start with that!

Just a heads up for anyone interested who doesn't already have the ATG card - they're offering a £10.00 discount on the first year via this link www.atgtickets.com/membership-dd-discounttcc25/Which takes the card to £25.00 for the year paid via Direct Debit (so it will automatically renew next year at £35.00 - cancel this if you don't want it to auto renew!)

Just had this appear on my Facebook feed with a number of comments from existing members who are getting their renewal payments taken by DD at full price. Another example of new custom being valued more highly than the loyal existing customers.

I went for the £25 offer, thought I'd give it a try for a year. However, how do I see what discounted tickets are available? When I log into the ATG Tickets site I just get a full list of shows. Is there a members area or something? I'm in London so I don't have a home venue as such.

Click into the show you're interested in and there will be an option to sign in as an ATG TheatreClub member - when you click on an individual seat, the members' offers will be listed along with the other variations on seat price / VIP package, etc. Sometimes it's a long list - check it carefully, they sometimes stick a £10 ATG card offer down at the bottom!

Out of interest does anyone with the card know if it gives a discount on Austentatious at Fortune Theatre?

Out of interest does anyone with the card know if it gives a discount on Austentatious at Fortune Theatre? £8 off top price and £7 off second price but seems to be on selected dates only.

Well for £25 I thought I'd do it. I'm a regular at Austentatious and I'm hoping to book for Dial M Fr Murder at Richmond and Peter Pan Goes Wrong at Woking so I'm hoping it'll pay for itself soon enough!
How do you see which performances have a discount? I am loving the no transaction fee, that alone will pay for the card in about six trips.

Red Box with price options still not fully visible: I seem to recall a discussion about this and a suggested workaround, but having trawled back through the whole thread I can't find it. I was also told by ATG, back in the mists of time, that it was an IT error and they were fixing it but that clearly hasn't happened.
So, any advice, please, fellow members? I am an ATG member and log in as one but when I get the price options in the red box, I can only see the upper part and there is no way to move it/enlarge it/scroll down to see the full list. I'm actually trying to book for something at present (not urgent) and would rather not embark on yet another protracted and possibly fruitless email enquiry with ATG. I'm using Chrome with Windows 10 but can try a different browser if that would help.
