I don't think "being uploaded by a person who is in the video" is quite the same thing as "being uploaded by the creator or licensing company who retain full legal rights to the intellectual property portrayed within". I mean, I do amateur shows, and one of the rules we're expected to abide by is not recording any aspect of the show, not even a crappy audio solely to help with rehearsing at home, so I don't think this is as entirely legal as you believe it might be.

As the guy is not hiding who he is (he is even replying in the comments) and the video has not removed by Youtube after being available for several months, I assumed the upload would be legal (and yes, I know what they say about "assume" ).

I'm down in London for work for a night this week and always try to catch a show when I'm down. On a slightly tight schedule this time though! Train arrives into Euston at 7:15pm but staying in Kings X. Don't want to buy a ticket in advance in case my train is delayed (likely!) but a few questions:
1) What are the chances of getting a ticket on the night?
2) Do they do the under 25s discount at the box office?
3) Will they offer any last minute discounts on the night?

Has anyone been to the show recently can explain the sections of the audience that has been opened up with the new extension. Has the stage been extended to cover the new opened up sections?

Yeah I want to know that too. I haven't been since September the 4th. If they haven't extended the stage, then those seat must be terrible!

I had been wondering too! The fact that they're all market as Restricted view makes me presume that the staging won't have moved...can't imagine it being a very good view at all!

Sitting at the end of an aisle from the end where the balcony is was pretty bad anyway (for the balcony and some of the shop scenes).

The stagin hasn't changed, they just added more seats at sides. The first few rows are so restricted no one sits there but the middle ones work quite fine for the price

Which I suppose for a crazy fan may be a bonus. Thank god the tickets we booked for closing night are the central block

I saw this yesterday matinee. I'm a big fan of Hamilton but hadn't heard a lot of ITH. I loved it! David Badella was out so we had his understudy but everyone else was on. I sat in D22/23 on Platform 2 which were great seats from Love Theatre. I really loved Arun Blair as Benny - his voice was glorious (I could also hear him as Aaron Burr!).

Booked for my third visit to In the Heights on those ridiculously cheap £20 Tuesday tickets!

Saw this yesterday for the second time, the first since last December. I think I enjoyed it even more this time. I wasn't crazy about Sam MacKay then and I'm not now (he's too old and the rap is meh), but I really liked the new Abuela and the new Benny is FANTASTIC. Gabriela Garcia has an extraordinary voice, but her acting was frankly terrible. Vas Constanti was great as u/s Rosario and u/s Piragua guy was brilliant. Also looooooved Aimie Atkinson as Daniela

Looks like Emma Kingston made another return tonight as Vanessa. I wonder why?!

Seems to have happened less than half an hour before the performance started, is that allowed?

Just when we thought the cast dramas were over . . .

I'm not even remotely surprised.
I was there tonight, fun to see the new cast members and a solid return from Emma as Vanessa.

It might be a silly question, but I missed all the dramas and I kept wondering... Why is there a Rosario's alternate? Physically and vocally is the least demanding role of the show.

The late start was indeed due to them having to "switch" Vanessas on very short notice.
I hadn't seen the show in a while. First time for me with the new cast and sadly I couldn't warm to some of them. Definitely just my personal taste as the rest of the audience loved it. Really enjoyed Damian as Sonny though (he was one of my favourites at the Southwark Playhouse run) and it was nice to see Emma again.
Out of the new people the one person who totally stole the show for me was Genesis Lynea. I remember her from Jesus Christ Superstar at the Open Air. She's such an incredible dancer.

Have to say it's a bit of a kick in the whatnots not to have been asked first to cover Vanessa but whatever. Genesis Lynea impressed me in Bend It Like Beckham, she was fantastic in Jesus Christ Superstar and I look forward to seeing her in this. (All three in one year!)

Visit #14 last night and everyone was on form. I'm still picking up how poetic the lyrics are and how early trivial mentions become major parts of the show later on.
Unusually for the recent showings I've seen, David Bedella was on - excellent as he always is. I was impressed by how Vas Constani really made the Piragua Guy stand out despite not being a main character and was still continuing to develop the role with new tweaks. A good audience, but the front row wasn't very busy for when Vas/Piragua usually hands a drink over to the female part of a mixed couple. He did well to find a male couple in the front row, reign the free drink, then hand it to a kid nearby.
A few funny cast covers, with a chair being kicked over and Johnny Bishop losing his cap, kicking it to one side and performing without it, not finding it when he wanted it, then having one of the ensemble revealing that he'd hidden it and replacing it later in the show.
Arun Blair-Mangat is great as Benny and really captures the character for me. Raffaella Covino was on as Nina and was excellent also (I overheard a conversation from the US guy next to me, who was clearly put out that Raffaella looked exactly like his ex!). To me, Arun and Raffaella's voices didn't quite gel together, but they nailed their solos.
Sarah Naudi is excellent as Vanessa too. Have seen her in the role a few times (including when she was a cover) and she always nails this. Think she might now be only cast member I've seen on every time, unless there's a cast member I've missed.
Such a shame this is closing. The Kings Cross Theatre is a hotbed right now. When I arrived, collected my ticket and walked in, I was chased by a member of the security staff concerned that I might have chosen the wrong 1 of the 4 shows currently being shown to attend. I was at the right show and I hope that In the Heights has some life left as a touring show after it closes in January.

I think if I had the choice I would prefer to see Vas rather than David again as Kevin. Vas is brilliant, but David really dissapointed me. I mean, hes good, but the whole Oliviers thing made it sound like her was a show stopper but turning up to the theatre, he was onr of the weakest performances of the night compared to the other cast members (bar Lily Frazer, who toward the end of her run was god awful, but had been built up so much on here and other places that it was a major dissapointment).
I too don't understand the reasonign why of all the roles, David is the Alternate role.

Has there been any talk of staging this show in Spanish somewhere? I would love a Spanish recording.
