Tonights cast as expected Gabriela as Nina Sarah as Vanessa 2nd cover Vas as Kevin Jocasta as Camilla Courtney as Carla Michael as Piragua Guy. New programmes are finally here after 3 and a half weeks! Any permanent changes in the programme? This cast seems to be in flux. |

Ryan Reid is now first cover for Benny (previously Spin who is now 2nd cover) Other than Jocasta now Dance Captain she is now a swing rather than ensemble. Courtney has upgraded to 1st Carla, Kimmy 2nd Carla. Alex is still listed as a swing (and Resident Choreographer) but now is 3rd for Carla instead of 1st because of her resident choreographer duties! (Probably will only be on in emergencies) |

Same Alex was my favourite Carla. Sarah was outstanding as Vanessa tonight! 3rd time seeing her as Vanessa. Plus in the last week she has done Her 2nd covers Nina, Daniela and Vanessa consecutively! Feel a bit bad for Jocasta being stuck as Camilla and not being able to do her scheduled Vanessa or Daniela shows. Hope she get on for them soon  Make sure you guys catch Christine on the Britains Got Talent Semi Finals! Been announced shes on tomorrow night (Tues) with her band Zyrah Rose |

I wonder with Lily if she's able to do some work as some were speculating that it might be the voice that's the problem at the moment. |

I have just seen on the west end understudies page Vas and Gabriela have taken over as Kevin and Nina. I wonder what is in the pipeline for David (other than the concert in July) and Lily, both were two of my favourites the three times I have caught the show. (Although I did love Cleve, Sam and Joe too)

Yeh
Vas has taken over Kevin and Gabriela has taken over Nina full time. There will be a new Piragua guy soon and I imagine a new female cast member who can cover Nina.
David has been annouced in Eugenius at the London Palladium and the end of June

I wonder if this money issues? Getting some other people in on Equity minimum to cover rolls originally played by more expensive cast members isn't unheard of. Neither is people dropping the number of shows they do a week to save running costs.

Peace of mind, you are all in good hands. Gabriela and Vas are fantastic in those roles, Gabriela I thought, was even stronger than Lily in the role of Nina!  |

I really like Gabriela's Nina. Vocally Lily was stronger when I saw her (that was before she seemed to start struggling with vocal issues) but I prefer Gabriela's acting choices. Not too keen on Vas as Kevin but then the role isn't that big anyway.

I understand David has had personal stuff going on etc, but it always does slightly tick me off when someone collects the Olivier whilst in an open show and quite literally does not appear in it again. I saw In the Heights the day after the Oliviers and he wasn't on and he hasn't been on since. I understand in his case of course but just as a general thing.

I understand David leaving was due to personal reasons, but saddened that Lily's was seemingly kept so hush hush, if she wasn't ill and had other plans already.
