Normally due to announce anytime soon.
Could it be another Sondheim like Something Happened On The Way To The Forum? Maybe a Andrew Lloyd Webber on like Tell Me On A Sunday?
Be interested to find out this years offering?

I have it on good authority that 'I Can't Sing' will finally be making a fringe debut!

They've brought over a small scale American production recently, so something along those lines?

It's Behind the Iron Mask starring Scarlett Strallen and Julian Ovendon I think "scarring" is a better word for what happens when people appear in that.

Think Stephen Ward is destined for the Other Palace.
The Menier is noted for always doing revivals and basically has nearly covered everything done by Somdheim. If they were going to do a new musical Hands On A Hardbody or Bright Star would be inspired or maybe Passing Strange?
Revivals Maybe Pal Joey or An Apple Tree or just maybe Big River likewise Bells Are Ringing?

They also do some "quirky" things in the summer like Life of the Party, close to You and Forbidden Broadway.

We don't need a revival of Stephen Ward, lets be honest. Like, just no.

We do need a revival of Company and I would love to see it, never have.
Would have suggested this but heard that Marianne Elliott new production company intend to do a all female production. It would be glorious in the Menier.
I've tried to expunge Paradise Found form my memory and you go and bring it up, my very first Menier musical. Close to You was another off Broadway transfer.

I wonder whether it isn't time for a new look at Cabaret... we haven't had an intimate production since the Donmar one.
Another piece that might be worth another view is Closer to Heaven. I like the Pet Shop Boys and it has some great numbers. It was designed for a smaller space and some camp pop might bring in an audience!

It was not good. Such a shame as I loved the original production.

I'd like to see them do something small, like Kander and Ebb's The Rink or The Story Of My Life.
Or something completely different, like The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas.

I would love it to be falsettos especially if it could have the recent Broadway Cast (although if it did they would probably not be in it) Or other ones I would like to see are pacific overtures,Godspell,Hedwig and the angry inch or side by side by sondheim

Hedwig could work very well in that space. I agree, either that or Falsettos perlease!

It would definitely be more suited to the thrust stage at the SP

Cabaret, Hedwig and Falsettos are all inspired choices and one that I thought of already, but declined to mention it, for no other reason there are live active elsewhere. The Menier seem to like complete control of the producing process.

The Menier seem to like complete control of the producing process. The production of into the woods was on broadway before and there was also a us tour of it on at roughly the same time so it might not be uncommon. Aslo with she loves me there was the different reveal on broadway so that might mean it could be any show that was on somewhere else, just a different version but who knows it is exciting to see what it could be.

Good point with She Loves Me. Didn't think the estate would have allowed a competing production, whilst the Broadway one was active.thought the legal agreement would stop competing productions.
Into The Woods was a transfer of the off Broadway production.

My vote is for Mame, Scarlet Pimpernel, Funny Thing Happened...., Kiss Of the Spiderwoman, Me and My Girl or Curtains.
As for Stephen Bored - I wanted to shoot myself. Dreadful show...
