Savoy site says tickets will be available mid-March. It's mid-March now. As radio said above, that's not the official savoy web-site, it's a ticket agency that is trying to flog tickets. They've registered loads of theatre domains to do so.

Can this be confirmed? It's linked on the show's Facebook. How can they get away with it?

Can this be confirmed? It's linked on the show's Facebook. How can they get away with it? I'm not on Facebook, so which site are you talking about? www.savoytheatre.org/dreamgirls/ => says tickets on sale mid-march, but is not official, as they say themselves under "about us": www.dreamgirlswestend.com/ => official show page, says tickets on sale spring 2016, i.e. at some time between tomorrow and 19th June. Not sure if the Savoy Theatre even has an own official web site (maybe apart from a sub-site on atgtickets.com).

Facebook: www.facebook.com/DreamgirlsLDN/?fref=nfwww.dreamgirlswestend.com seems pretty official to me. At the bottom it says it's designed by AKA, which is the "other" creative agency that does all the advertising and marketing work for musicals in London. They did the Billy Elliot and Matilda brands and run their campaigns.

Interesting to see it appears they will be bringing in the added songs from the movie such as Listen... they recently posted a poll on Twitter of what is everyone's favourite song in Dreamgirls London (obviously And I Am Telling You is winning) but Listen is also listed.

I believe that 'Listen' was included in the most recent touring production.
Hope they do add the songs from the movie, would be great to hear Amber sing "Love you I do"

They added Listen to the US tour that was supposed to go to Broadway. It became a duet between Effie and Dina with new lyrics. You can find it and um, listen to it, on YouTube.
I wonder who they will cast as Dina. The part has been beefed up since the film, and I'm sure they'd want someone not completely unknown to follow the footsteps of Queen B. I feel that this version will be to the Bill Condon adaptation what the Evita revival was to the Alan Parker Evita.

Oh I apologise, I wasn't aware it had already been added... I love that song though so am thrilled to see it in!

Do we know yet how long the booking period will be initially? I'm assuming it will be the standard six months then an extension?

It is a lovetheatre priority booking .. Not the booking that we've all signed up via the show itself.
If I can I will post the link after I've booked tickets at 12...
I hardly think it's going to be a Harry Potter situation with tickets flying out of the door.. I imagine it's only us show queens who really know about it!
