Anyone got tickets for this? I haven't but am hoping to get them when more tickets are released. Bloody Donmar.
I do love a good political play.

Wasn't that interested in this until they announced Roger Allam. Hopefully will pick up a ticket somehow - isn't there a new Klaxon scheme?

One good thing about the Donmar is that they put returns back on the website as they come in. I needed an extra ticket for St Joan recently and had no problem picking one up in advance.

This is the only play from the current season that I DO want to see; hoping OH can be available to attempt the new Klaxon booking (fortunately he is also interested as he likes political fare), but it's a pain not knowing where the seats might be - Front Row was a battle but at least you knew where you'd be sitting if you were able to secure a ticket.

I just managed to get one that popped up out of nowhere for Saturday March 11th. Really looking forward to it, love Roger Allam and this is such a great topic for a play.

I hold my hands up and say I only got interested when Allam was announced too, sadly I think coordinating Klaxon tickets (if they happen? assume they will) and getting to London will fail, so no Allam for me.

I was avoiding this thread as am mourning the fact that I didn't book now casting has been announced but checked in, in case you had secret seat information! Think it's going to be like this now for the donmar, unless the announce casting very early it'll be a late seat hunt. Has the new website calmed down now, I went on the first few hours of release and just got very frustrated as it wouldn't show me anything useful and seemed to take about 5 clicks to get into every date to find there were no tickets for anything. Or was I being very dim?

Or was I being very dim? I must admit I found it a bit frustrating on a desktop at least. Lots of pages sliding backwards and forwards with words like Search and Availability which seemed to duplicate processes. I think it's been tightened up now.. or I'm getting used to it.

Is there any way you can search for availability, instead of clicking on each date, to be then told it is sold out.

It seems possible to scroll through the whole date list quite quickly. Just now, for instance, there was a single ticket available for the whole run, on the evening of Thursday 6 April. But I didn't want to pay £30 and I need one for OH, too.

You can set a range of dates, but that's only useful in some situations. (Sorry, just noticed TheatreMonkey was ahead of me with that info)

Tried again and whilst I can see that it says you can select a range of dates can't get it to work, would only show me first three days and nothing else and bits of the screen kept shooting off sideways and rapidly felt blood pressure rising. This could be a brilliant new way to save money.

Haven't looked at the Donmar's website for ages - the new one isn't great but at least you don't have to click on every single date to find one with availability now. Agree about the things shooting off sideways all the time though!

Thanks
I find the new website to be very tricky with a IPad.
I selected all dates, then a sub box appears that overlays the dates, on that there is a 'availability' link, you click on that and nothing happens?

If you do that, a list appears, telling you which are sold out and which are available. Takes some practise, though, to use that site, I agree. Did you do this on a IPad?

I used my iPad as well, once you click on the date you want, it should come up with 'Select Seats' in red at the bottom of the page, if you click on that it should take you through to choose from the available seats.

Thanks again one and all for your help.
Managed to have a look at all dates this morning on my work desktop.
Sadly though all sold out.
