So many people have commented on how they find Ethan's published works and literary aspirations unlikely. But if someone's a writer, why wouldn't they commit to writing a blog? If you want to write, you have to do it constantly, and a blog of any subject is as reasonable an idea as any. I have SO MANY FRIENDS who are constantly writing novels (published and unpublished), they also write blogs and get together with other writers frequently. And if you think the subject of Ethan's book sounds tremendously unlikely as a bestseller, then you are fortunate enough to have missed out on some awful, misogynistic books. I found the central relationship extremely unconvincing (I kept waiting for him to steal credit for her new book or something), but as individual writers, they were all too plausible to me.

Managed to get a stalls seat for today's matinee, I wasn't missing out on seeing Theo James!

I'd never heard of him until now & am not that bothered about seeing the play. Apparently it's sold out (despite the lukewarm reviews), so I'd give up my ticket if there was a practical way to do so.

Step 1) Pick up ticket. Step 2) Place hand with ticket immediately above waste receptacle. Step 3) Move finger and thumb slightly apart until ticket drops into waste receptacle.

Booked a seat for £15 for this Saturday, despite the lukewarm reviews, I'm quite excited to see this!

So what did you think, dillan? I saw the (sold out) matinee today and found it perfectly enjoyable without being anything out of the ordinary or likely to linger in the memory. I thought it was performed with spirit, so however implausible the premise, the play engaged me and as for the sets, they were really impressive, particularly the second one - so much detail!

I was also at the 3pm show! I thought it was okayish / good, but can understand why it's had such poor reviews. The storyline isn't brilliant and there isn't much that grips you in. The acting was great though and they did really well with the script they were given. Agreed about the sets, the second one was great!

Also at the 3pm show!
This was WAY better than expected, particularly given the iffy reviews. OK the premise of the play was a little far fetched but I think it was very well constructed to draw you into their developing relationship and said quite a lot about the nature of fame/reputation. Absolutely cracking performances and Theo was simply gorgeous....
