I think that & Juliet would kill it on tour once people knew where the music was from and I think that the Grease tour will be huge given the recognition factor.

Is a Jerry Springer: The Opera tour wishful thinking? I'd personally love to see this show make a comeback, but I kind of feel that it's unlikely. The simple reason why is because Jerry Springer isn't as popular/marketable as it used to be. At the time 'Jerry Springer: The Opera' originally opened, 'The Jerry Springer Show' was one of the most talked about/controversial shows airing on TV. It was essentially a pop culture phenomenon. If it did ever made a comeback now, I personally don't think it would make a huge impact as it did before. This is basically one of the reasons why 'I Can't Sing!' flopped, it opened at a time when 'X Factor' wasn't as big as it used to be. Of course I could be wrong. I'll admit, I don't know if Jerry Springer is that relevant nowadays (as it is still airing I believe), but I would say it's past it "glory days". |

The Hope Mill in Manchester did a revival last year and that had mixed, but some good reviews saying it is still relevant in the age of Trump and TV reality stars in the US. Though I'd rather to see it as the original National Theatre production or at least on the full operatic scale unlike the subsequent fringe versions as it originally worked as an opera piece to clash the high culture with the low. Although with more accessibility to the theatre these days (pre-COVID...and hopefully post too!) that clash probably isn't as shocking these days with other musicals like Avenue Q and The Book of Mormon. But as I say, wishful thinking. |

I agree there are so many well known songs in it, I’m so glad it was the last west end show I saw before theatres closed. It would also be the perfect Christmas show in Cardiff at the Wales Millenium Centre. I can see this one doing a months worth or two months even, sit downs in theatres :-) |

I would love a tour of 'Mame' - saw it in Salisbury with Tracie Bennett and Harriet Thorpe and the words that sprang to mind as I was leaving the theatre were joyous and delightful, something I think everyone could do with right now (apparently that production doesn't have West End rights so would have to be a tour)

Tracie was fabulous in it but I think it would need a bigger name than hers to sustain a full tour. |

I would love someone to set up a Golden Age musicals rep company that would tour round doing straightforward versions of classic scores that would ordinarily not get a revival on such a scale.

From what I've heard about it, it's considered as one of the 'better' jukebox musicals (compared to the likes of 'We Will Rock You'). Not a Madness fan, but I am fond of 'Baggy Trousers', so I'd be interested to see this show if it ever tours again. |

I'd love that. Actually I've thought for years that a musicals rep company would be great, irrespective of the vintage of the material. I'd love to be able to see the same cast members in different roles in a short space of time, unlike the usual model when if you like someone in a musical it's often a year or more before they move to another show & you can see them in a different role.

I’d love a UK Tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. The Broadway production has never been seen in the UK, and it’s beautiful. However, same problems as always. Big orchestra, big sets and big cast.

Dianne Pilkington would make a wonderful Marie (reprising her performance from the concert) and I'd love to see someone like Clare Halse as Cinderella.

I’d love to see Amara Okereke as Ella. She could sing the songs in the original Broadway key, and probably make an awesome portrayal. Dianne and Mazz would be an absolute yes for me. Harry Apps would make a great Prince Topher.

I love Mazz, and she was the highlight of the concert as Madame, but it's too small a role. She needs to be Donna again, and then lead the Cher Show in London!

Love to see again Andrew Lloyd Webber’s and Jim Steinman’s Whistle Down the Wind.
However the second to last song Nature of the Beast contains a line ‘there has always been wars, viruses and death,’ think that maybe a bit too raw at the moment.
