I'd be surprised if they did Aladdin, just with Disney having their panto-ish version just up the road. I agree also the fact that the other London panto, Wimbledon, is Aladdin. i didn’t think it would be Peter Pan due to Richmond being that but now High Wycombe and MK are both Snow White...I’m not sure. Could be Jack and the beanstalk though? I really hope it’s Snow White! Some great casting roles.

Prehaps it's Mother Goose or Babes in Wood.

According to @thepantoarchive on Twitter, the MK panto has changed to Robin Hood. And @mktheatre tweeted a Robin Hood styled teaser image earlier, it looks like Shane Richie is starring. Official announcement tomorrow.

I'm afraid I can't shed any light on who will be appearing at the Palladium in 2018/19, but one performers who definitely won't be involved is Christopher Biggins, who is appearing in Aladdin in Bradford, along with Billy Pearce in his 20th Alhambra pantomime.

Julian Clary and Paul Zerden have not been announced either. Could be they are the house actors for the Palladium.

I may be wrong but the only two roles Julian plays in panto are Dandini in Cinderella and Spirit of the Bells in Dick Whittington. Both shows have already been done so Julian may not be returning to the Palladium this year.
I can see Gary Wilmot returning as the Dame after his success last year though!
Cannot wait for the announcement - they are clearly trying to match a star with a show eg. Paul O'Grady as the Wicked Queen in Snow White?

Julian has also played Spirit Of The Beans in Jack & The Beanstalk (The Mayflower Southampton 2012/2013 & Cardiff New Theatre 2013/2014) and Spirit Of The Ring In Aladdin (Birmingham Hippodrome 2015/2016) so he could well be in this years Palladium panto too.

If they do Aladdin, I’d like to see Julian’s ring on Nigel’s finger...

Stephen and @caiaphas , straight to your rooms, without any supper. You've both been very naughty boys.

Wasn't Biggins supposed to have been retiring from doing pantos, I thought last time was his swansong as the shows are hard work and with his numerous costume changes must be hard work for a man pushing 70. But good news if he is doing another as he is one of the last remaining great panto dames of his era still performing.

So well deserved. As far as "entertainment" goes as the category is named, this show just gave me the biggest smile on my face.
