This is quite good fun, a creaky old 1947 thriller/black comedy written by James Bridie in 1947. That was the era of Hitchcock (who Bridie worked with) and the Ealing Comedy and it has small elements of each. The production here is basic, especially the direction, but at the centre is a performance by David Rintoul which is powerfully dramatic and powerfully camp at the same time, just like Olivier used to be. Bridie founded the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow which over the years has been noted for that combination of styles.
In 1947 it starred George Cole and the great Alastair Sim who I once saw on stage 50 years ago. Jesu the days that we have seen.

Yes, it's pretty hoary stuff and Rintoul more or less eats the scenery whole but it has a great performance by the young actor Alex Bhat and the play itself will make you steer clear of medics for the rest of time ..... :-)
