Until a week or so ago i was convinced Sheridan would return. Now i really do think the opposite. Yes I totally agree. I thought she would certainly come back but not convinced now at all. They might extend her break by say 2 weeks but if she isn't back after that, then they wouldn't extend her anymore I don't think and she'll be gone.

But there's a strong chance you won't get as good a seats Yes we have good seats for the date we booked for ages ago but we were looking and would probably have to go in the week. We'd be gutted if we didn't exchange and she then returned so that's why we would do it.

I wonder if anyone will attempt a court case for a refund owing to the fact exchanges are given owing to Sheridan's absence which might overrule any written contract terms.

ATG (and Delfont Mackintosh) exchange tickets anyway with at least 48 hours notice for a fee if you don't have a theatre card - they don't ask why you are changing tickets. I'm not sure on that basis it would work.

I mean the terms of no refunds exchanges due to cast absences might be considered void because the theatre has in practice of offered exchanges and even refunds apparently for her absence,

Contracts are binding. The parties in a contract may agree to vary the terms of the contract between them but that doesn't affect the terms of any contracts either party has with other people. Being nice to someone doesn't create a precedent that requires equal niceness to everyone.

It can do through. Especially for anyone booking after the first exchanges were given during the Meneir run. The Impression that a refund or exchange might be given has in others areas of industry overruled exclusion clauses.

If you had booked for the Menier and changed your ticket for a Savoy show that Sheridan was missing then you should be able to get a refund. Otherwise, no.

No small claims court would take on something like this and likely would side with the producers and given the costs involved would be more than the price of the ticket, it wouldn't be worth it financially.

Two more days until the 4 weeks are up. I reckon she'll come back, but wouldn't be surprised if she didn't. I think it could co either way. The main thing is she puts her health first, it would be awful if she came back and then left again.

Do people really care that much or have that much time on their hands? If you have that much money and love Sheridan that much you wish to pour it into a court case, why not just not go and give someone else the tickets. Honestly, there are so many bigger issues in the world. Not getting to see an overrated actress in a little musical is hardly worth a fight over.

I think she'll either come back then or she'll get 2 more weeks off. If she had more time off and then wanted more time off then they wouldn't let it. I've got a small feeling she'll come back one day.

Who knows but well hopefully find out Thursday!

Have there been any more "technical issues" with the set whilst she was away, or is it all miraculously fixed now?

I think the 2-4 weeks will cover them until Saturday, but if she's not back by Monday or Tuesday (whichever nights they perform) then that's very poor on the producers' behalf.

Would make more sense to be at the beginning of the week as there are two one show days.
