Just back from it. Natasha is fantastic, she's a brilliant comedy actress and she sings nicely. The whole cast is lovely. However, I found the show itself quite dull (apart from the 2/3 famous songs) and the production uncharming.

Fascinating interview with Natasha Barnes on BBC Woman's Hour Wednesday giving a bit more insight into taking over the role of Fanny.

Just had a quick look, she isn't back, as it were. Her account is still there (it was never deleted), but no activity since May 10th.

If she's back on Twitter then I think it's defiantly meaning she's on the up! Great news!

Isn't going and looking at someone's "likes" a bit like hacking into someone's emails? I know it can easily be done but it feels like snooping to me.

Hmm, not really. Sometimes tweets even come up on your homepage with 'so-and-so liked this'.

On Twitter, there is a section of likes. I was told she was back on Twitter so I just checked. How am I snooping? That's nowhere near intention, gosh seriously...

I didn't mean it like that, I just simply stated that she hadn't been on Twitter since she left but now she's come back on which means she's probably feeling better. I don't mean anything derogatorily

You sure? I thought it was a reference to those "technical difficulties" - if you know what I mean.

You sure? I thought it was a reference to those "technical difficulties" - if you know what I mean. I definitely think it was a reference to clutching at straws I think Michael was making a joke & referring to using the bunch of straws for a "glass of technical difficulties" - or, alcohol. It's pretty clear that it's clutching at straws We definitely have our fair share of misinterpreted jokes on this board!! Unless, infofreako, you already knew that and were making a joke yourself that I've just misinterpreted myself......and the cycle goes on!!!!

I suppose if people weren't interested in it, Twitter wouldn't show the information... Would they? I love a good snoop. Dont forget get you can have a good old snoop at how many likes all of our fabulous members have had for their posts, just by visiting their profile. Not that it's a competition of course. That would be awful

On the subject of clutching at things, there can be no doubt that Natasha is taking the opportunity that's come her way and is grabbing it with both hands. She is absolutely sensational and then some!
Great to hear applause and cheers from the audience tonight when they announced she was playing Fanny at the start of the show. That reaction has only got louder and The Savoy is buzzing right now. Can't wait for part 2.
Oh, and there's not a technical difficulty in sight!

Natasha is wonderful and has really turned the critics around. Good for her, although I think next week she will be back in her original track!

Just back from seeing it tonight and Natasha is much better than SS. She can SING the songs and is adorable and funny. The audience went mad for her and she seemed visibly moved at the end. I don't imagine anyone would feel shortchanged after seeing her performance. Truly, A star is born.
Sadly though it's still the same misconceived production. All grey and soulless. Mirrored wings reflecting props and furniture being hoiked off the travelators and a floral front cloth resembling a shower curtain. It looks cheap and ugly.
Still, I enjoyed it purely for Barnes...
