Wonder when the Savoy hotel staff will send them away. Don't think they want to have people camping next to the hotel's main entrance... They actually in the strand. Probably been told to go there, the pavement in the savoy road is narrow.

Saw this show again last night and it is utterly amazing! Such an amazing show! Seeing it a second time was really good as I could see all the different aspects of the show.
Sheridan looks like she's having a ball on the stage! So much enthusiasm and wit! Met her again at Stage Door and she is really lovely, so personable. Stage door really busy (probably be even busier tomorrow) so she had to rush abit but she still got a photo with me/us and was so friendly always saying "thank you". Such a lovely lady who goes to everyone even though she probably just wants to get home!
Was sat in Row K of dress circle. These were same price as the stalls (Row F) that we had last time. I preferred the stalls as you feel more connected to the show as that's where Sheridan also makes eye contact with. Row K of dress did feel a little far away but you could still see the facial expressions well. If it was nearer it could've been better for the same price HOWEVER only booked the seats last week as they suddenly came available so very lucky there!
I do really hope Sheridan does more theatre shows as she is truly phenomenal! Very good show overalll. Oh and the Savoy Theatre is magical, so beautiful - my favourite!
P.S regarding camping - there was quite a few people already camping on the Strand when we left the theatre after stage door!!

Well the last performance was everything I expected and more. Sheridan was superb and gave it everything. You could tell she was having the best time, with a few extra improv bits thrown in. Huge ovation when she first appears on the stage and extended applause at the end of every song. Massive reception for the rest of the cast too. At the end there was a standing ovation for the cast right from the beginning which was wonderful to see and when Sheridan appeared the noise was deafening. Flowers presented to the cast by the crew and also Sonia Friedman and David Babani. The most wonderful gesture was right at the end when everyone left the stage and Sheridan then walked back on with Natasha to take the applause (Natasha had not been performing in the evening show)it really was lovely. I didn't do the stage door but had a look and it was absolutely heaving so kept well away. Really magical night.

Was hoping someone might have been at the matinee and spill if there were any muck-ups. Agree with all Alece10 says, thought Sheridan was weeper than I've seen in previous performances. I've loved her in this, I really have. No plans to see the tour though.

Looking forward to Cardiff and Bristol now!

Such sad news, I know they were close and he must have been so proud of her. Hopefully she's been able to spend a lot of time with him in the past few months.

An awful end to a very sad story; felt absolutely horrible for her that it was dragged out in public.

Very sad news for Sheridan, now is the time to take December and mourn with her family in private and away from the public eye.

Poor Sheridan, I hope the press leave her alone to grieve for as long as she wishes.
I was actually going to bring this thread back to page 1 for a different reason today - I noticed in the programme for Dreamgirls that in the part where it gives the history of the Savoy and lists the different productions and their stars, for Funny Girl it says "starring Sheridan Smith, Darius Campbell and Natasha J Barnes", which I thought was nice!

After everything she went through with the press when her dads diagnosis was first announced, it just makes it even worse that he loses his battle so close to Christmas.
Hope the press let her and her family grieve in private in this sad time.

I think the press are going to be sensitive towards this subject considering the backlash and all that happened last time when they interfered with her life.

I know what the loss of a Father feels like. It surprising what strength you find so hopefully she will be ok. Lets hope she is given time to grieve in peace.

Judging by the sudden influx of posts on the Digs Facebook group, it seems that the tour has now been cast. As to when an announcement might be due, sadly I have no idea!

So.... this opens in Manchester in little over a month. Who is playing Nick? Ive been wondering this too. With five weeks until the first show of the tour we've had no cast announced since Sheridan was doing some of the dates. I'm keen to know who'll be the other Fanny.

Probably due to Strictly Ballroom this would never happen, but I would love to see Gemma Sutton as Fanny Bryce on the tour dates Sheridan isn't doing.
