Post with bootleg of the entire show removed. I'm sure this can be found on a well known video hosting site though More of a pirate copy than a bootleg, really.

I had to book and got central row f in the stalls (one row before premium kicks in). By the look of it Row A, B & C in the stalls could be day seats or they are being removed as there was no availability for these seats on any date I looked at. I'm really intrigued as to which characters will be gender swapped, I've been thinking about it all morning, will they make Bobbie Bi, or will someone is waiting be all about the guys and if so, how will that even work without a full rewrite of that particular song?? Re: Gender swapping, if it was anyone else at this stage I'd be saying they were playing a bit of an arbitrary game of 'who can we cast and we'll take all the rest from there' But given it's Elliot, I'd imagine somewhere (possibly in a basement) there's some epic spider diagram of who is changing to what, whose relationships that impacts on and corresponding lyric changes in some big mess of red string Dexter style. Either that or Miss Patti heard it was happening without her, phoned up and demanded to be in it and threw all the other plans to hell.

More of a pirate copy than a bootleg, really. Interesting question, would a pirate copy only have one bootleg, then? I'm waiting in that taxi.

Interesting question, would a pirate copy only have one bootleg, then? I'm waiting in that taxi. Yo ho ho and all that, but back in the days when the world was young, and so was I, a pirate record was one that was illegally copied from a commercial record and a bootleg was an illegal recording of a live concert or show. OK, nobody liked a know-all but what can you do when you know everything!!! Do I now say 'Taxi!' before the rest of you do!0

Oh, and the company who run our ticketshop have asked us to mention that theatreboard.entstix.com/tickets/company may have tickets (with booking fee) at early performances where seats are already selling fast. So, I've mentioned it. Actually, I was quite surprised when I checked just now. This morning, the entire front stalls was available for the date I booked, early in the run. Now, there's nothing forward of row S except a few premium seats. A few other date checks and a year and a bit out, there's a surprisingly high take up at all prices. I wonder how many Americans are booking to see "Patti doing Sondheim in London". I hope this isn't one of the first previews, or it may be Hamilton all over again..

A quick nose just now reveals later in the run still has plenty of availability.
As the day goes on I'm getting more and more grumpy about this production!

A quick nose just now reveals later in the run still has plenty of availability. As the day goes on I'm getting more and more grumpy about this production! The afternoon shows seem to be selling faster. You can still get the £25 slips easily enough for others, there are plenty of dates with the stalls mostly available. Don't feel any great need to book this asap. The cheap slips will probably sell over the next couple of days, but booking a year in advance is a big ask, and there's half a dozen shows I'd like to see before Christmas for the same money. I can't honestly say I've seen many Sondheim shows sell out far ahead of time. Follies is still easily bookable.

As the day goes on I'm getting more and more grumpy about this production! Not a day goes by, not a single day . . . Does this help you stop being grumpy? Does anyone still wear a hat? I'll drink to that.

It's look over at Elaine Stritch, who looks all bashful, then the glance back at the conductor.
Just genius.

I had that YouTube clip open on my phone when I was at my mums, and it was exactly as above with the big red "play" button positioned slap bang over Patti's gob. I put the phone down and mum caught sight of it, and exclaimed "good god, who's she? And what has she done to her mouth?" 🤣😂

Patti LuPone's live version of Being Alive is one of my Desert Island Discs. Over a year to wait, but I know it'll be worth it!

Dress circle restricted view seat £79.50!!! Absolute joke Check later dates. As of two minutes ago, the £25 dress circle slips seat I booked this morning is still available on a random date I picked later in the run.

Despite my huge doubts, I did book now, wanted to be sure to get "my" £25 slip seat while those are still available. Oh who am I kidding, I will be seeing this for La LuPone alone.
