I think Declan Bennett would be brilliant casting for Pierre, unsure if he plays accordion but he is very musical so I imagine he can pick up the small amount that is needed! Has this production been confirmed actor-musician? I don't remember what the audition notices said |

The Broadway production (and any prior iteration) had Pierre playing accordion (and some piano too) but I'm unsure if this is something that's written into the script or was just a choice of that production.

I was hoping for a starrey cast (pun intended), as the Donmar is such a prestigious theatre and usually attracts big names but doesn't seem to be the case with this show. Ah well at least I didn't pay a lot for my tickets!

Ah well at least I didn't pay a lot for my tickets! the material is so hard I imagine it’s hard to find celebs that can do it. Am personally quite excited by the idea of it not being names — much like the original off-Broadway. |

Ugh, she's so perfect for this, considering she was in Malloy's Ghost Quartet (and was absolutely brilliant in it), this is not 'simply reuniting his JCS cast'. She has the composer's seal of approval so what more could one ask for.

Agree she's very talented and I loved her in JCS. But that would go for all the Marys that did Sheader's production! (In general it was really well cast). Also liked Declan but he wasn't my fave Jesus. |

There's also a page not found which shows up as Casting announced for the "The Cherry Orchard" but the cast is definitely not that. Preview text when I search up Casting announced for the "The Cherry Orchard" has some of these names randomly appear. Jamie Muscato · Chloe Saracco · Annette McLaughlin · Caissie Levy. Actor · MOYO (AKANDÉ) ... Jamie Parker. Actor · Annie Grace. Actor · Brian James O'Sullivan. Actor ...
Latter ones sound like Macbeth cast, but Jamie Muscato · Chloe Saracco · Annette McLaughlin · Caissie Levy... that's a possible string of names.

Is this show completely sold out - I've tried a couple of dates on the site and some are coming up with a 'no tickets available' message, while others are showing the seating plan, but with no available tickets.

Yep, it's sold out. Might have to try for rush if it happens or for the transfer that could happen. I believe there's £15 standing tickets released on the day.
