Their Facebook page has just put up a link for best seats £17.50 How do you get this price? The link takes me to the normal page The benches at the side of the stage are £21 (minus £3 booking fee and 50p restoration fee = £17.50). It's a bit of a poorly worded statement and the key word is *FROM* £17.50 (but this price definitely isn't for the 'best' seats). The top price seats are still £43 at full price incl fees

Well. It's like From Homo to Eternity. I bet Tim Rice is spitting feathers he didn't write this one. Hot boys, uniforms, a bit of vest action, some gays, some laughs, some tears and A TAP ROUTINE! What more could you want? Some toe tapping tunes and a great cast (all with great voices) but standouts were Sarah-Louise Young and Scott Hunter who has a touch of the Gavin Creel about him I thought. And who wouldn't love a touch of Gavin Creel? But my absolute favourite was Chris Kiely as Artie. Not only did I love Artie as a character but he was just so effortlessly glorious playing him. He stole the show. He deserves to be in a big show in London's glitzy West End. {Spoiler - click to view} . . shame we didn't see him again after the arrest. And thanks to the Charing Cross Theatre for knowing its audience and employing the hottest hottie in hotsville on the bar. If the show wasn't so good I'd have propped up the bar all night. So to speak. Matron.

Enjoyed this very much and unfortunately still so pertinent today with Donald Trump "banning" transgender persons from the military in America - clearly we still have a long way to go......
I thought the show was melodic with great period style, with some good lyrics. Effectively staged, lit and costumed. A strong, affecting story very well sung by the entire company especially Scott Hunter and Andy Coxon as the leads.
A pity the audience was so sparse. On leaving I was given a voucher entitled "We want you! It's your turn to #jointhesquad". £10 off Premium and Band A seats for ALL performances across the rest of the run. Use code YANKRETURN to access the offer. This brings Band A tickets down to £22.50.
A real gem of a show, I thought.
The theatre was boiling hot - very uncomfortable apart from watching the sweat on all those male bodies in vests!!

Why is the theatre hot ALL the time even when it's not particularly hot outside?
Is there a glass blowing factory next door or something?

Why is the theatre hot ALL the time even when it's not particularly hot outside? It's the millions and millions and millions of bricks. They act like a giant heat sump.

Well that's lovely. And if you take advantage of that very generous offer above, you should also buy a program from the box office, an ice cream from one of the delightful ushers and a drink from the hottie in the bar to support the show and the theatre. Of course, you really should pay full price for the ticket because it's very much worth it. It's a lovely little show AND YOU GET A TAP ROUTINE!

Really hope this gets a few more people through the door to see this as it's a great show. Paid full price and it was worth it.
In the interval one of the friends I went with leaned over to me and said "this is really good, I didn't realise it was a gay war romance". I was a bit surprised as I'd sent her link to the show. Turns out she never even reads the description of the stuff I send her. She says that it's always turned out well over the 25 odd years I've been booking for her so she just goes with whatever I suggest as long as she can do the date. Never knew that until now.....

THANK YOU! I'm booked for Saturday night, thanks to this amazing offer. Right now I'm trying to save all my pennies, but this offer was too good to miss. Now I just have to find a new place to live

Well this was absolutely brilliant - enjoyed every minute of it! Was sad to see that probably the back 6 or 7 rows were completely empty, and a lot of other empty seats dotted around. After complaining on here last week about the lack of offers they seem to be all over the place now, so hopefully it will start filling up - it really deserves it! Purposely booked seat L1 right near the door as thought that would be the coolest place but still really struggled with the heat. Isn't there some kind of law about acceptable temperatures in public spaces? There must be something they can do?

I'm dreading seeing this now after reading on here about how uncomfortable the temperature is at this theatre. I saw titanic last year and was willing it to end I was so hot and uncomfortable:(

I was there Saturday and i didnt think it was half as hot as it had been previously. I did notice a few people fanning themselves towards the end of Act 2, but it was alot cooler than it was for Titanic.

I thought it was boiling, just like it was for Titanic. You'd have thought they could sort it out by now? Also I spotted several mice scurrying around.
Musical was great though! Cute guys, moving story, good music, tap dancing, naked torsos extra sweaty from the heat, having a yank etc.
My (homosexual) partner HATED it though, he said it was cheesy and hard to believe.
