Just seen CastingWeekly tweet about casting for roles & ensemble for an Off-West End production of The Drowsy Chaperone. I love, love, looooooooove this show, dying to see it again - has anyone heard anything about this or know any info?? No idea if it's a 'pro' Off-West End production or more on the amateur scale.
Thanks all, looking forward to seeing if anything gets announced in the near future!

I saw this show 3 times in the west end mainly because it wasn't selling well so plenty of offers. I really loved it. Quirky and slightly mad with some lovely songs. I'd love to see another production of it

Saw a fantastic production Upstairs at The Gatehouse a couple of years after I saw it in the West End, I don't think it'd ever have a life beyond small-scale productions unfortunately, but I'm happy with that! haha. Thanks for the info PalelyLaura!

I was fortunate enough to see it during its pre-Broadway run in LA. Sutton Foster had broken her wrist in rehearsals and did the show with a cast on it. She did the cartwheels one handed during her big Show Off number. Talk about a trouper!

It's going to Charing Cross Theatre next year. Oh this is good news - they have had a good run of show there. I have the CD of this, but have never seen a production so something to look forward to.
