John does a lot of these types of concerts and he's recorded This Is The Moment previously so I assume he'll sing that.
And I assume Kerry will sing Finding Wonderland, and Natalie will sing either The Mad Hatter or I Will Prevail given they were both in the Wonderland tour a few years ago.

I think This Is My Moment (or This Is My Mortgage as the composer refers to it) is really banal and cliched. This might be coloured by the fact that my first experience of it was Jane McDonald performing it in concert. God this is cheesy, I thought but of course it went down an absolute storm.

Yeah TITM can go either way for me, if it's a skilled performer then it can be epic, but falls dangerously close to cheese otherwise. I do have a soft spot for it though.

Does everyone have every movable body part crossed for Bonnie & Clyde on Monday/Tuesday? 😬

Does everyone have every movable body part crossed for Bonnie & Clyde on Monday/Tuesday? 😬 That's sold out (unlike this concert, which had masses of availability), so unless Mr Jordan is unavailable I'm certain it will go ahead. I guess this is more a case of comping the house or postponing to try and get more tickets sold.

Looking forward to this - I just hope that it's not all taken up by Bonnie and Clyde... Really hoping we'll hear songs from The Count of Monte Cristo and Rudolf (the latter is exceptionally underrated!!) Hell, I'd love just a replica of the CD that was released a couple of years ago... but I have a feeling that the song choices are going to be limited to shows which have been performed to an English speaking audience before...
I was going to call Cadogan up to see about upgrading my seats, but I think I might just leave it and see what happens. Less than 50% sold. Only about 20 seats sold in the Gallery... might just see if they close the gallery and we get upgraded that way. It is a shame this isn't selling better, though. Some of Wildhorn's shows are epic. I genuinely think that shows like 'Dracula' and 'Rudolf' could find an audience in theatres like The Arts, the Ambassadors, the Garrick, etc. But then, I think quite a lot of "darker" musicals could work well in the English-speaking world, if given a serious chance (shows like 'Tanz der Vampire', 'Elisabeth', 'Rebecca')

Death Note confirmed to come to West End “soon”. He also hopes that Dracula will make it to the UK soon too.
We have also heard a new version of In His Eyes from the new version of J&H. Can’t say I liked it too much - seems rewritten in a way to get cheers from the audience mid song (it sort of reminded me of You’re Gonna Love Me from Dream Girls in that regard).

He also confirmed Jekyll and Hyde will have a new ending that none of us “will see coming”.
