Hi, I'd be really grateful for some advice. I have space to see 5 shows during my next visit to London. I haven't been to London for 4 months and would like to see shows that I haven't seen on previous visits. I was thinking Sideshow at Southwark, Ragtime at Charing Cross, Murder Ballad at the Arts, Dreamgirls at the Savoy. I am wondering about my 5th musical. She Loves Me at the Menier should be good but I have seen the show before, Soho Cinders at the Union Theatre may be good as I like the score but I am not crazy about panto, Bodyguard is a possibility because even though I am not a fan of jukebox shows I do love Ms Knigh's vocals, Or any other suggestions? Is there anything worth seeing on a Thursdsy matinee? If so I could make it to 6 shows. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

How about School Of Rock? That opens very soon, plus it has a Thursday matinee on 1st December so you could fit that in and something else.
Half A Sixpence maybe?

Soho Cinders is a musical, there's no elements of panto in it at all. Well, there definitely haven't been previously and cant see them them adding any just because it christmas.

Thanks. I think we have a winner: (drumroll please) - I'll go to Soho Cinders. Oh yes I will, oh no I won't, oh yes I will (well, I'll try). Shame I'm not that enthused by Lazarus as I love MCH (Dexter was my favourite show).

I'd suggest Dreamgirls because I think that show is going to be amazing and it's been highly anticipated as it's the first time it's in London!
If you like Whitney Houston songs then maybe The Bodyguard?

If you are visiting from America, like a lot of people do and want to seem something quintessentially English, I would suggest half a sixpence.
BTW: Nothing wrong with your original selection.
