This is on in Newcastle this week and selling very well. Was wavering whether to see it so of course I head to the award winning theatre Board and good reviews so think you've swung it for me. Wasn't aware it was a play, but will give it a go!

Wasn't aware it was a play, but will give it a go! I saw it last night and really enjoyed it. It took me a while to get used to Jodie's accent, but she was terrific in the role (or should I say roles, given she covers everyone else in the play). The only downside was that by the interval I was desperate for a bag of chips after the smell of them cooking on stage. Was tempted to pop to the Town Fry on the corner for act 2  It's pretty well sold now, but you should get a good view from most parts of the theatre as the set isn't a high one, and most of the play is delivered centre stage. |
