A gang of posh old white mate critics gather in an abandoned theatre to discuss the good old days SOLD! And they each have to review each other. If they cast this right...........holy moly. Is it too early to start dream-casting this?

I wonder if it'll be the Lyttelton or the Olivier? The National is going full throttle with Angels in America and Follies in 2017

I was thinking about Joanna Riding for Phyllis (remember her performance as Charlotte in a little night music concert? Fab), but Janie Dee can do no wrong in my eyes. Jenna Russell as Sally?

She did Good People at Hampstead/West End and Gypsy at Chichester in 2014 so not unusual really. I'm guessing this year's essentially been her year off unless she's been doing TV and film.

This would rule out Imedia taking Gypsy to New York then, who needs a Tony anyway.
So with a Stephen Sondheim free year, something else will win the Olivier then, but looks like this won't happen for 2 consequitive years though.
Great musical, great casting.
