If it was due to be announced yesterday I think they would have put it back, due to events in London.

I swear this happens every time there's a recasting. Everyone gets excited over rumours of who it might be, every week for what feels like months it's "it's gonna be today" or "this week I'm sure of it!" then they eventually announce it and it's usually a massive anticlimax anyway. They'll announce it when they announce it

It was never going to be yesterday because assuming they follow the pattern of getting WOS to announce it, they usually tease it the night before and we've had nothing from this week!

I'm not expecting it to be announced until the end of the month, haven't since they first said it'd be September. I don't particularly care who gets it anyway, just intrigued as always

I'm still amused at the thought of it being September 29th, the very last possible time in the month for the announcement so they would not be lying!

My friend who was in the previous London cast told me again who the new glinda is (same name I had heard from elsewhere) and that it will be announced next week.

Who needs an announcement when we fans can do it ourselves!
So I think...
Confirmed: Elphaba - Amy Ross Glinda - Helen Woolf Fieyro - Aaron Sidwell
Rumoured/assumed to be staying: Morrible - Kim Ismay Elphaba Standby - Jessamy Stoddart
No news/assuming new casting: Nessa Wizard/Dillamond Boq

Although not likely after she said she's done with Wicked, I would love Natasha Ferguson to be the Elphaba Standby! 🤞🏻

That's probably why they're not announcing it quickly, the general public will just think "who?" Unlike when they announced that bloke from Eastenders.

I really hope the Glinda is Helen Woolf, she has received rave reviews across the board so would enjoy witnessing her portrayal. I'm a bit concerned about Aaron in the role of Fiyero, but I have been surprised by "celebrity" cast before so time will tell. I know nothing of Amy Ross (in truth, I never heard of her before the rumours began circulating).
I would love for Kim Ismay to return, she was certainly a standout among the international tour cast. As for the standby Elphaba position, I think that Jessamy is a likely candidate. I remember finding her departure from Wicked so soon as odd, especially since she seemed to enjoy being with Wicked!

Aaron has been in many musicals though, he's earned his chance. I think he will be great!

She also told people that she was staying on, so maybe Wicked later offered her standby on tour and she decided to accept the promotion. Aaron has done quite a bit of musical theatre already so I'm not too worried about him, he's more a musical star who got a television big break than a TV star trying to pad out a quiet spell with theatre.

It's three new leads for me and also will be new Standby Elphaba and green/pink witch U/S even if some of them return - so I'm totally happy!

A friend of mine said that none of the international tour Elphabas or Glindas were returning, he seems to be right so far so I imagine he could also be right with regards to the understudies (Zoe, Elizabeth etc..) Natasha has already confirmed she won't be returning.

Natasha has already confirmed she won't be returning. The only Glinda I could see returning would be Amy Goodwin who was/is swing and 2nd Glinda! I agree about the Elphies and can imagine fresh U/S which is a safer bet with a new lead having Jessamy as Standby.

I'm really hoping the Helen as Glinda rumours are true, I've only heard good things about her Glinda and gutted I never got the chance to see her in London. If everyone here is right then it'll be all new leads for me which I love.
