I suspect this question was asked on the old forum but can I ask - what date was the performance that's showing at cinemas on Thursday evening? I don't think for one minute that it'd actually be live.

There were a few longer pauses or slightly amended mid way sentences when I went a few weeks back but if I hadn't been alert to them because of the comments I wouldn't have noticed so I expect he'll be fine. I was much more concerned with dripping wax as we had one very leaky candle.

It wasn't only West fluffing lines (twice), McTeer and Stubbs did as well!

West admitted in an interview in the paper this weekend that he had trouble with the lines. No explanation as to why.

Unlikely, the cast do seem to be the busy sort. Out of interest, has anything transferred from the Donmar since Frost/Nixon?

Where was the West interview? I am intrigued how he isn't more mortified but maybe he is trying to hide his embarrassment? It must have been incredibly awkward for his co-stars.

But in defence of Una Stubbs - she was fighting coughs throughout the performances, West a little less so. I would probably not have noticed all the almost unnoticeable fluffing if it hadn't been a topic. |
