I really want to see it, but see it for Celinde. From what I've seen on youtube, Ben lacks the menace to be the Phantom. Does anyone know if Ben has some holiday soon?

When IS the 30th?
Speaking of Phans..Does anyone recall The Phantom Appreciation Society? It's founder (or editor?) a lady who legally renamed herself Christine Daae? I wonder what happened to her. She was on the message board I used to be part of in the 90s (I actually think it was the RUG message board back then).

I know at some point she got married and became Christine Daae [last name]. What I thought was her last name apparently isn't, because googling isn't coming up with anything. But she did use the Daae as her middle name for a while. |

Is the anniversary show on the 10th? Is that why Celinde is playing on a day thats usual Harriets? They should have let Harriet pkay it. But no, "fave" Celi5has to do it! 😠 seems a bit like the Broadway thing when they acted like Sierra played the 10k show or something but in truth she did not. Upset even though i can't be there. Don't need Celinde on a video, need something with Harriet 😎😇

With the 10th anniversary of Wicked tomorrow I was reminded of the fact that Phantom will have it's 30th anniversary next week. Are we expecting anything special to happen?

Nicely priced to reflect their opening year and this anniversary - £19.86 and £30 except for a number of £300 tickets which must be bought in pairs and include the after-show party. I was at RAH for their 25th, at Her Majesty's for their 10,000th show and it seems, will now be there again for their 30th. I was marginally discouraged by recent reviews of the current cast, but the 'original cast and special guests' finale is enough to persuade me at these prices.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES! I got tickets!!! After the 30th of LM last year I told myself i'd do anything to be present at Phantom's 30th as well. I had to rebook my flight (costs £48, although my original flight was £32 in total), and I'll miss a full day of holidays, but YES, as a big Celinde fan I couldn't be happier atm

So his show will finish by 9:30PM. Phantom runs a lot longer and with curtain call and speeches and the Arts Theatre being so close to Her Majesty's, I think he should have plenty of time to get there. |

I was about to ask if Michael Crawford would be more involved in some sort of encore seeing as he couldn't sing at the 25th (due to just finishing a performance of The Wizard of Oz), but I totally forgot he's doing The Go-Between.
