I really hope they do but hopefully it isn't a musical that the US have already done too.
Saying that, I really hope ITV2 air Hairspray Live like they did with Grease too!!

I'd love to see them do something like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Live. It is a family favourite, could be technically challenging but also could be quite exciting for the screen! I thought I heard somewhere ages ago that a remake of the original was being planned, so this could be a great way to do it!

I was very exited for this but now knowing I can actually watch it I am super exited!! This is one of my favourite musicals and me and my family love it. Is it sad that I am planing a hairspray party now and has anyone got any ideas for one like themed food or decorations?

Shame that ITV have decided not to do a Live musical this year. I live in hope that they do a British cast version of 'Hairspray' to preserve Michael Ball's Edna on screen. Add Les Dennis as Wilbur and Katherine Kelly as Velma and they are onto a winning combination.
